I feel that the panning shot of Pyra's waist was supposed to emphasize her hands clenching in reaction to Brigid's words. Not complaining either way though.
@@Flomen01 It was a much more condensed experience so there weren't as many scenes using the stock animations. The monologuing scenes in this game uses stock animations to save on budget, and the more cinematic scenes are used for action sequences. Because Torna only has 3 hours of cutscenes as opposed to 14 hours, they had less monologue cutscenes. The character movements in those cinematic scenes are about on par with each other, if not slightly improved due to Torna being a later entry. Future Connected also has some amazing cinematic cutscenes but also used plenty of stock animations because of their budget.
@@ShallBePurified This is true, but with the amount of time they had to develop the DLC, they were able to polish it to its fullest. Judging from the main game's concept art, they had much more ambitious plans in the art department than they had time for, so it's likely that they used the effort they wanted to spend on the base game on the DLC instead (what with the influx of budget and time).
So fun fact. People with disassociative identity disorder can sometimes actually have some of their identities talk with each other in their heads like Pyra and Mythra do. Also Wulfric is actually really good
Jin is the real hero out here setting slaves free. 👽 Also Heavenly Disrupt is the most OP art in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as it can break, topple, launch, and smash all in one move.
When the wires get angry they start reflecting damage. A sentence that doesn't make sense in any other game, and still honestly makes no goddamn sense in this one, lol.
If you hacked away the insulation from wires then start hitting them with a big conductive metal object IRL they'd start giving you some nice juicy mains electricity too :3
@@ShatteredAxis Are blade weapons made of metal? most of them seem like they're just energy to me. The only ones that actually look physical are Morag's swords and Tora's drill.
@@Bladehound83 Well this is a Xenoblade world. They run titan fluids through the wires, not electricity. Titan fluids are essentially liquid ether, which is dangerous to touch in the Xenoblade universe. Just look at Xenoblade 1 when you jump into a pit of green ether.
I beat (cheesed?) them by targeting the core until I had a chain attack built up, chain attack the wires, rinse and repeat to avoid the spike damage. They were pretty easy that way.
34:46 this is one of those random lines in a video that's so inexplicably deeply funny to me that i will seek out the video half a year later just to hear it again because it just entered my head again today
Don’t worry I’m so stubborn that I didn’t even realise there were powerlines, I managed to destroy the core first time. This is also where I will part ways with this franchises, as the point where this part ended is exactly where I’m up to in my play-through. Maybe some other day
Obviously too late to help here, but for anyone else struggling with the wires, I couldn’t beat them until I started using spike defence aux cores. The enemies at the start of temperantia can drop spike defence level 2 which honestly makes the fight a complete joke, tried for about an hour and a half then beat it first try with spike defence
On my first playthrough I went to Temperantia roughly 10 levels overleveled and ended up defating the Aeshma's Core without targeting the wires. Took far longer than it had any right to, but I still managed it.
Torna makes this chapter's ending so painful. Like even watching it again unexpectedly hit me and I nearly teared up again. This game does a really good job building up to the gut punches.
Not sure if you'd have enough but there's a core crystal you can buy in torigoth, pretty expensive though. If you can afford it you could put it on zeke
is there a stream missing from his twitch ? i try to watch the one right after the stream title chapter 8 but it seem like stuff is missing he was 56 and next stream he is 62 and he was talking farming gold chips last stream but last stream he was doing story
Im not sure if you havent showed it or havent done it but have you been paying attention to wp and sp? And accessories and aux cores and core chips and pouch items...
The past few streams were mostly all core farming. You just have to wait for the flyann youtube channel to catch up to the flyann twitch channel, unless he gets Kos-Mos soon, then the twitch will continue story and side quests.

Mistakes were made. But I'm glad they figured out cutscene cinematics in Torna.
@@Flomen01 It was less so the cinematics and more so Pyra's design. Torna has the same cinematography as Xenoblade 2 does, with some better lighting.
@@ShallBePurified Hmm. I don't know if it was just lighting. The camera pans are a lot smoother and character movements are much less stiff.
