3:54 Vintersea is another band that uses the contrast of melodic vocals over very fast/heavy instrumental sections, they've done it in songs like "Befallen", "Crescent Eclipse", and several other Vintersea songs. It's kind of a signature style for them, they've mastered the art of blending beauty and brutality.
I love it. I like where this album might be going. I like that they are not doing a The Work 2.0. The Work is still one of my fav albums of all time because its so emotional to me.
Give their earlier albums a listen when you can. They arent as well put together in my opinion as their last 2 releases, but you can hear their more Tech Death origins compared to their more prog leaning stuff today. Songs like Rain Eater, Reign Of Dreams, and Ancestral I are perfect examples and are absolute bangers in their own right! Their whole first album as a whole is just straight up ear assaulting Tech Death, with a hint of that atmospheric background that they developed into their style today.
This song was hella good and I didn’t know this band could be this heavy!!!!! But I didn’t know that this was their heaviest song that they have ever made.
@@PavelGaborik"MORE?" is way heavier I think, what do you think? Especially towards the end where that violent guitar tone and riff combine with the vocals/lyrics. It's truly great, and imo the heaviest work they've done.
To obey a tyrant released a new song called I,Apollyon there a blackened deathcore band from the UK , i enjoyed this song and the last one you uploaded deviloof
Whaaat? New Rivers Of Nihil? I really hope they rebound from the mistake that was The Work, that album was a huge let down after putting out masterpieces like Monarchy and Where Owls Know My Name. It was the biggest disappointment of 2021 for me.

My favorite Progressive Tech Nu Death Core release of the year thus far!
The cleans into solo. This is still the old RoN vibe. Man I've been blasting this for the last few days

Loving this track.
Solo was great, new vocalist has quite the range, more than I was anticipating.
Another great one. Next album is gonna be killer

@@KytexEdits I think front to back Hellbirds is more aggressive, heavier, though More? towards the end is pretty ruthless as well.

honestly I liked it. Sure, could never reach owls, but I thought Focus, Void, Episode and terrestria IV where all really good songs
It’s by far my favorite album from them. Its the exact album I was expecting and wanting after Owls. Its so damn good.
