great looking setup, definitely functional. Any idea on the thickness of aluminum used for it? and how heavy the whole thing came out to be (minus the fridge) - Thanks
Thanks! I'm not sure of the thickness or the weight, but I do know that American Adventure Lab has done some extensive research and testing to make sure its as light as possible without sacrificing durability. Reach out to them and I'm sure they can give you more detail as to the specs. www.americanadventurelab.com
It is a fantastic setup. Unfortunately I do not know the total weight of the setup. I'm sure if you give American Adventure Lab a call they will have that info.
What hardware did you use to mount the fridge to the slide? Did you use any washers or spacers? I am thinking flanged button head may be a good option with my "slightly wider" fridge slide and the cfx3 45.
I'll have to look back on my receipts but if I recall correctly it was about $6,500 including the fridge, however the system is fully customizable. I suggest reaching out to American Adventure Lab (americanadventurelab.com) for an estimate to fit your specific needs.
Trail rails are a waste of money. They sit proud of the floor and prevent sliding luggage into back. And everyone should have the tailgate table. Hence removing trail rail.
If we didn't install the AAL system, the Trail Rail would have served a purpose. Prior to the AAL install I did utilize the Trial Rail system for various things. I agree that it does sit proud, but could still be useful to some. But if you intend on installing the AAL MASS System or similar it is not a necessary addition to the build spec.
there's a roof top tent going to be set-up..
love the setup
Looks like a trip to St. george maybe in the future. Thanks for sharing

Nice video! I am definitely interested in this setup! Do you happen to know the total weight of the entire setup?

I believe it was a flanged button head that was used.
@@2ndChanceOverland perfect - that is what i am using as well 30 or 35 mm length if i remeber correctly
Can the flat slide be added between the drawers? Or does it need to be on top of the stack?
The flat slide needs to be on the top from what I understand from AAL.
What size Dometic fridge are you running?
It is the Dometic CFX3 45

I think it’s stupid that now you loose that small storage underneath
