  • Today we're chatting about FODMAP reintroduction journeys! I'm joined by registered dietitian, Emily Clarke, from the Monash University FODMAP team and we're sharing our personal reintroduction journeys. Emily will also be talking to us about why tolerance levels can change over time.
Feel free to leave us your reintroduction questions in the comments below.

    Very
good video. It is nice to hear other's journeys. It can feel so isolating to be trying to figure out IBS, but feeling more optimistic now after joining Alanna, and hearing this vide. Thank you!!

Interesting and comforting video! Thank you! I'm looking forward to next year when my time will be my own and can begin to do some serious reintroductions. It's been years since I've eaten most of the excluded foods, except for lately adding little bits of apple into things and really enjoying that! More introduction videos and stories would be most welcome.

Thank you for this video! I'm on my second elimination and I've been really nervous to reintroduce foods. Hearing both of your experiences is really helpful, and I'll try not to be afraid!

Hi Rebecca, it's great to hear that you've found the video useful. It's really normal to be anxious about reintroducing foods. Just remember that any reactions to the FODMAP group will pass as the FODMAP moves out of your system (usually within 3 days). If you are feeling particular anxious about a FODMAP group you can always start with a smaller serving and work your way up to the recommended challenge amounts.
