- One great way to save for Christmas, without really realizing you're doing it, is to simply save your pocket change all year and then cash it in at Coinstar in December. That's what we did today. How much do you think we have? Watch and see.
Too fun, congrats on the savings! Your wife is a sweetie❤💕

I love going back to the old videos, you can see the most beautiful changes in all of you!
That man has a lot of patience lol

April Herrera abonner sur la chaîne toi😊😊
April Herrera yea fr
I thought it was a kid omg
11.9% fee?? Holy crap!!!
GigiSan it use to be 10.9%
Still a robbery IMHO. I mean, currency exchanges usually want 9% fee and I think that's already stealing. We're talking counting coins here. :)
Coinstar makes billions of dollars each year because people are too lazy to roll their coins. Their motto "give me 10$ and I'll give you 9$back"
here in Germany I pay 0% for this service 😅
In a bank ofc 😅😂
I thought she was his daughter
That's my Cousin from Subic Bay Philippines

Same bro same. The way he was talking to her was like she was a little kid. She didn’t act or look like an adult either
Love this.......I never used a coin machine.......I will show my grandsons.
That's great! I have one of those battery op change sorters at home and roll the coins, then take them to my bank. No fee charged. They can always used coins either for them or when retail customers come in for them.
Just watched this today. I love the colors of your jacket & toque Dearly. The bright pink looks so pretty on you.
That fee is crazy. Higher than most credit cards

Yeah, it's insane. First and last time for us. Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
THe gift card is not free, it is for you as the company you get the gift card for is the one who pays the fee.
Just found and subscribed to your channel
Loved this video you sure got lot of money hope
You get to spend it on something fun
May God bless your family
If you have nothing nice to say including rude comments then don’t comment at all..
Not everyone knows how to use one of these and there different in all countries.
Stfu
Darn... You aren't supposed to take the coins it spits out, you're supposed to leave those for us treasure coin hunters 😂
Hey nice work on your Christmas savings!
19 days in on January 19th 2019, and ive got $26.96 in change. gonna be like $500 at this rate come christmas lol
We go about once a year with my daughter's jar of coins, then head right for the toy store. One of her favorite days of the year!
Amazing how quickly it adds up!!
You'd been better off getting a gift card, you'll get back your entire amount, whereas losing 11.9% fee accepting cash. That's crazy!
Yup, that's what we're doing next time. Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
I THOUGHT THE GIRL WAS A LITTLE KID
I did too...you should never have to tell an adult not to bang on something. He said it like she was a kid and she had a trick or treat thing.
You have did a great job saving
congratulations you already know How to save your money
I’m European and I’ve never seen anything like this! We go to a Bank or Building Societies and it’s free! I also thought this was a child, NO OFFENCE meant, not a lady. I love these two but felt in this video Kevin was treating her like a child, so maybe this is where the confusion lies! It could be the Army thing, where he’s so orderly and a perfectionist, sending loads of love x 🌎 x
No worries. his treating me how should women be treating. :-) his superduper nice. -DEARLY
Thanks for the kind words. Thanks for taking ur time to watch my video.
Oh bless you both 💙 I adore you both, seriously respect you, you have become like friends from far away! It’s because you are so petite and sweet, Kevin is a man of integrity and I love Kevin’s stories. Only love and friendship and kind words will come from me too your family x 🌏🌍🌎 x
Pretty sure she was foreign didn't sound like a smooth speaking English now you understand the confusion in this video I'm not bring mean either.
Hope you checked the half and quarter dollars for silver..
Did you look at the coin's before you did this to make sure you weren't throwing away a valuable/collectable coin?
The most i got was like 20 bucks of loose change
Looks like that 90 day fiancé show
I had a wee bit more than your child but honestly I was not a happy camper getting taxed that badly with their fee. In all honesty, I feel more happy going to the bank and asking for coin rolls and stuffing them myself, but then I do collect old coins too, so now I can catch them all these days and not get taxed and feel I got ripped off by a machine. Plus I can only imagine it may teach a child patience, but my kids are grown with their own kids, living in other states. (Their jobs took them there, they didn't run from us, ha ha).
I'm the kind of father that at Easter time, those plastic eggs that are hollow, I would hide them around the yard with different coins in them, such as Morgan dollar coins, walking liberty, etc, etc and tell them if they keep the coins until they are my age, those will be worth a lot of money and do you know, both kids still have all of their coins I gave away, all those years. It makes a father beam with happiness that, hey, they really were listening.
But anything less than 1970 I keep....wow, I am old, but on the bright side, I don't feel as old as I am, I have moments tho, when I feel my body is 500 years old, enough about aches and pains, ha ha.
You apparently did not watch to the end, it was not a child.
Coinstar kiosks are a rip off! Think of it this way. For every $100 dollars in change you dump in, you get $88.10 back. Use a bank Sir!
jim52970 most banks if you don’t have an account charge a percentage as well
True
Good job guys....look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves.
Dollars surely!....lol
Good job !
This is so satisfying
ELO in the background 🤘🏻😁🤘🏻
I save my change all year, and I did coin star, I got 150 dollars, but the total was really 190 kinda wished I'd brought it to the bank
The quarters that get spit out are usually silver ones
Sure beats counting, recounting, then stuffing paper rolls like the "good ol' days"! Or does it? It kept my little ADHD self busy for a bit...WHILE MY PARENTS WENT ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS! Heyyyy, I bet it was a setup. They probably bought coins from the bank monthly... I hope you all saved back some shiny pennies, otherwise the flies will be partying inside your house this Fall!
These machines take 10 maybe 11% of the usual total count. Well, I heard that some coins are worth more than you think. From the years of the 1910s to the 1960s. 1970s & 1980s are old but not very old enough. I doubt you looked at what year these coins were before you deposited them for money.
I am wondering if you do have a machine that does the opposite, I mean to put cash 💰 on in it n it will give cents ?
Emma Sa that's called a change machine
Derf thanks 🌷
Common cents?😂
Yes, it's called a teenager. lol Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
Emma Sa no
ic some all copper pennies you should be keeping
;)
Thanks im gonna star doing this
5:57 That was indeed a good question!
My bank has one of those machines and I don't pay a fee! Get the idea?
Yes, next time we're using the bank. Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
Which bank
Many used to offer said machines, many of them have been getting rid of either due to maintenance or in the case of TD Bank where they were skimming money from customers (look up "Penny Arcade lawsuit"), and some still charge non customers a fee to pay for the machine and service.
Y does it charge u taxes on money that has already been taxed????
Nice
It kept jamming because the machine was closing because like it said on the screen “we need to catch up”
Coin stars Kinda the only option cause banks don’t take tolled coins anymore
tolled...someone, something missed something there
What's that coin called with the hole in the middle I live in the UK so I wouldn't know
Not sure. We think we picked it up in Asia somewhere. Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
BabypineappleZ12 I believe yen. Off the top of my head though, not facts
I like checking the coin slot shoot out you get silver coins alot
Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
4:51 that coin with a whole on the centre is not a Chinese coins but it is a 5 yen coin though
You know there’s Acorn now, right?
I'm new here nice vid
What country are you from ??? Just curious
Never spend change. You will always need it!
i hate how they say its jammed but the machine is just closing up so that it can could the coins for a sec
My family use the machine and we had 275.68 and they used it on my babyshower for my son and my nephew
She got robbed....that machine rips u off
Never get Cash option at coin star its a rip-off. She said at the start it's $200 I'm sure she counted them but then the receipt is $154. Next time get a gift card or store card.
11.9% WTF
Not even Steam have a bigger Fee xDD
KETTREMOTE LOL have u seen ebay fees xD
10% ;)
Not as high as IRS taking 25% in lottery winnings totaling 5,000 or more up from that is, after the cost of tickets are deducted from total but still for larger amounts they may take up to another 14.6 at tax time.
Since Coinstar is a service and they do not have their own processing centers, they use armored truck service like Loomis or Brinks to collect and process those coins at those companies centers. Then much like other vending machines they have to give that place a kickback for allowing them to be there. There is also the machines costs for everything from design to service when needed. As for those *no fee* options for you, those participating companies or charities for the donation option are the ones paying said fee for you. I do save much change and what I do set aside is primarily pennies which I almost have a 48 ounce jar filled that started in 2007
Christmas savings Halloween bucket
Does american Banks not have that service for free ?? 11,9% daylight robbery!
Anders Haislund Jakobsen hmm casscx CBC. Hyhfgkrlo
I think there is going to be 132
Isn't my Cousin very Beautiful she is from the Philippines, she is 28 years old
Who’s whacking this in 2018 in the summer
roll the coins and turn them in at the bank. Why save, then throw away money in fees.
Cool
am I the only one who cash out like 400 dollars each time? I cant stand getting 100.. just feel likeits not worth the effort to cash out if its not 400 500 dollars lol
I can't save change to save my life! I love dumping it so I cash it out at $15-$16 for amazon GCs XD
That's actually a great idea. Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
Same
j j i know what you mean 100 is nothing especially if you only have that amount they take a percentage so its not worth it and at the end of the day you home all freakin pissed
I feel like that, I got $ 130 my buddy's all that's so much, I was disappointed lol
*christmas coins…*
*shows Halloween bucket*
Fuck coinstar, why didn’t you look at all the coins that go for way more than what they are worth? A penny went for over a million dollars last year and a 2017 quarter went for over $300. The most updated monies can pay you a lot.
Bro I'm from UK and I used to have an orange one of those buckets for Halloween 😂😂
Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
Why pay to get money. Just go to the bank and it’s free of charge
Many banks either stop accepting or doing cash or deposit of loose or rolled or both. Look up TD Bank Penny Arcade lawsuit for one aspect why many that had coin sorters for public use also got rid of machines aside from maintenance costs or lack of use alone even if it was free use for customers or some small charge.
@@Joshua79C coin star sucks im just goin to use my loose change
Honey take $$$$$$ to Bank.... they do it for free
I can those coins if you guys don't want it anymore
Don't use them machines they cost way to much . $100 to cash in cost me $17 in Massachusetts
The fee is high. Thanks for commenting. We hope you'll subscribe to our channel.
Your wife or friend or fiancé or girlfriend is officially rich. Also yeah I know 100$ dont make you rich it was a joke

And we just did yours as well. Thanks!
Wonder if that was her entire yearly earnings from the sweat shop?
Coinstar is not the good coin machine because you get less money and like 50% off that’s not good. Next time y’all might do the one like maybe First Financial Bank FFB is way better you get more coins yeah coinstar is not good. Not being mean just letting y’all know.
She is a filipina
I literally filled one of my drawers full of coi s took all of them and ended up with $2346 mostly quarters though
I thought that was a kid
V
I wish the band still had stuff like this
