- This is the 20th Ultimate Adventure since the original hardcore off-road event began in 1999 and this year the group kicks off from Kalispell, Montana and heads to the challenging Blacktail Wild Bill OHV Area which is one of the only off-road vehicle parks located inside a national forest. With a mix of natural and man-made off-road obstacles ranging from mild to wild, participants jumped into UA2020 driving a mix of unique and highly built Jeeps, vans, pickups, and 4x4 creations suffering only moderate carnage and relatively few field repairs. #MotorTrend #OffRoad #UA2020

I think the repair thing might be a liability thing, cause sometimes you gotta get a little sketchy to get it done and/or get bacl to camp

I drove on the Wild Bill Trail System this past summer in my slightly modified Subaru Outback! I took all the bypasses and it wasn't terribly difficult. This truly is a trail system that a variety of off road vehicles can enjoy.

Love this series. But why are the episodes so short? They should be at least 40 minutes.
I agree but last years were like 2 mins awful
its kind of like a sales pitch... they just want to tease you and they are hopping that you will go to their website to watch the rest :(
@@MrMrsregor Sorry mate but the episodes are exactly as short at their "Motor Trend On Demand" -website. I pay something like $50 for whole year subscription and I find its a deal compared how much stuff there are and no commercial what so ever.
@@Gadne92.5 oh wow, that’s really kind of sad. They used to be more like hour long episodes, and now they even talk about things in the drivers meeting that they never even show in the episode :(
I try to not talk bad about someone spending money on tv (cause it’s your money) but I think it is a total wast of money when there is so much good free content out there. I have never paid for any tv show in my 38 years, and I will not start now, that is what TH-cam is for. All I have to do is watch a few ads and save $50 a year ($500 every ten years) I’d rather spend my money on vehicle part and fuel. But thank you so much for letting us know we are not missing anything, I will stick to my free tv thank you

Living in the UK, it's always mind blowing (and I'm quite jealous of) seeing just how much off road trails you've got in America. I'd love to get my Defender built and over for one of these Ultimate Adventure trips, but I bet they ban Engines before that happens!

That would be an empty hole in the shackle. The shackle bolt is above that hole, out of view.

i lived in kalispell for like a year and had no idea these trails existed, i usually rode around til i found some trails though so i never looked anything up but it wouldve been nice to know about all this lol

skyjacker is the 2nd worst suspension I have had...#roughcountry for the loss.
I think the key to getting an invite this year was using Skyjacker parts...

Its cool that you guys got Fred and Ian, but how about you guys get some new guys. Theres probably 1000s of people that would love to do this.
So you neglected your vehicle and had to do plugs and wires your rotor cap is probably burnt to s*** and your fuel pump only went out because there's so much trash in the tank that you're shaking up. Sounds about right. This isn't a you have to pay the play situation this is you have to not be dumb and do general maintenance.
I wanna go but not sure my truck will ever qualify or get picked.

What's the deal with a "man made obstacle" trail system in a place like Montana? Seems like there would be more natural terrain trails than you could ride in half a lifetime. It just looks like a bunch of trash out in the woods that you're driving over.

Do you guys fake all the breaks? Why do so many of the participants break down. You throw a rig together overnight and go out and break them. Wheeling jaloppies should be the name of the show.
