@@david_ceMore hours on a character likely means more mastery over the mechanics of the character, whether they be simple or complex, so it makes sense that someone with so many hours has more intricate skill than someone with only 40 hours, let’s say
As a low rank Hanzo that uses this play style, i can garauntee that It works many MANY times. Raccomend to shoot after the fight starts, so they'll not pay attention to you at all.
Also to notice that if they Chase you and you Hide, their attention Will fall to something else making the shots easier.
Yeah, I was thinking in metals, few people turn around so this playstyle would actually work quite well lol.

honestly I’ve tried this playstyle after seeing your videos and I am by no means a good hanzo, but already doing so much better than I was before and also having more fun. spamzo never really worked for me so this feels much better

Honestly baffling how you still manage to make hanzo work in t500, idk if anyone else in the whole world could get into t500 onetricking hanzo. Pure fking skill.
I think there's a different reason this playstyle doesn't work in low ranks, and that's because it actually works too well. Flanking on a character that casuals hate like Hanzo makes 3-4 players turn for you every fight, and your own team has so little gamesense because it's low rank that they don't take advantage of the distraction you made. Then you have those same 3-4 people chasing you around the map all game, and even if you hit every headshot (which doesn't happen cuz you're low ranked) it's still not likely you win the 3v1 with nerfed Hanzo.
Nahh you need to be the one who makes them take advantage of the distraction. You need to start shooting AFTER thr enemies are already fighting ur team. Then when they turn around your team is already shooting at their backs
This style doesn't work in low ranks because of the skill requirement.

Feels like that with any character. Sometimes I won't realize I'm standing out until 3 or 4 people ignore my entire team to focus me and I'll be like "What? Why me?" then realize I have 10 kills and my other dps has 3 or something and I'm like "Oh... but I'm not doing *that* good, that was unnecessary..." Also a lot of people in low ranks will hard focus someone if they get shit on by them one time, which works out great for you if they come back from spawn ignoring your team and looking for revenge and you kill them again😂

Dude, I really wanna know how you're doing with the recent mid-season patch. The tanks are now "op" and how's it for Hanzo?
It means my oneshot forecast is holding. I said that they will reduce hp of many heroes to 225 and replace some of the remaining hp with armor to only make them squishier against high dmg shots and that they will probably test and experiment with armor changes before making the hp reduction. And now they making armor stronger 👀👀

The craziest thing ive learned from this is that you can use storm arrow and recon arrow at the same time, didnt even know that was possible

I def rack up 50 elim OT games playing this way in high silver/low gold but still lose half the time. It's at least fun to play so no big deal lol
This is the secret. They put hanzo in a bad place so everyone else can have fun, so we just need to make our own fun

Does Hanzo one shot again?
Any time I play dps I decide whether I'm going to hang out with the tank more or try to get a different angle than what my team takes to try to divide the enemy's attention. It depends on like 3 dozen different factors though, because it's Overwatch.
It was really satisfying playing Rein vs. Rein the other day because the guy I was against was about the same as me mechanically and Reinically and the only time I seemed to get an advantage over him was with positioning. Long game ended with a draw but was still pretty fun and I think eventually the other Rein kind of gave up so I guess I won the Rein mental battle.
Love the ??? expression people give when they get assassinated by flank hanzo.

Sure, that is the core of modern FTP games in multiplayer. Usually u fight not 5 vs 5 but 3 vs 7. The guys in competitive do not want to compete.

What I understood from this was the same style as before, but since you can't one shot anymore you can t play as bold or different just waiting and flank simulator. And then storm whoever presses you got it
idk how this is better than almost any other dps on a flank, I really like venture in place of hanzo because they're just new dps doom
If you're a Hanzo, then it's better. Hanzo is not Venture. Hanzo >> all other characters for Hanzo players.
@@MrBrock314 i have 400 hours on ow2 hanzo and more in ow1. if you cant learn to adapt you lose. I adapt by not playing him in this state even though I can force a win. just be real

i mainly play hanzo its been awhile since i played overwatch and i didnt know i cant one shot most characters anymore w one arrow to the head and i was so frustrated thinking why the hell am i not killing them...
I have this Play style on soldier, make the enemy tank rushing to kill me in the other side of the map instead of helping their team, pick their attention is aways good

1:50 this is actually a good advice for other characters that can flank too, taking advantage of the enemy team focus(touching/last try cap) and go deep in the flank
I've been using this style since I've met Arrge, reasons why I hate sombras. they will make it a thing to hunt you down.
