@@locoluke4149 Yes, but no where near as prevalent. Plus these cars had 900hp which helps with overcoming aero issues. Cutting power and increasing downforce is the absolute worst thing NASCAR has done.

Amazing channel I'm on this channel every day I've been a huge nascar fan for over 25 years I love watching the classics any years from 2012 down to earlys 1980s 🙂. It would be awesome is if yous made full season playlist of a season in the 90s maybe or 2000s I don't know just a idea hopefully it gets noticed 😁
Thank you nascar for the classic full races! But we've been very fortunate that we could watch a race from 1977 in 720p HD. Yet this is from 2007 and it's only 360p in ratio 4:3? Please explain?
I think it's because back in 2007 most people still used the CRT TV which had square screen, so sports were broadcasted in 4:3 ratio to fit the TV in those days...but today LED TVs have a 9:16 ratio which is perfect for TH-cam and that is why the new race replays are in 9:16 ratio...i could be wrong tho
Nascar. Have you thought about moving up the races to an earlier start time yet? This is five races in a row now because you start races when thunderstorms pop up after 4 pm. Try starting a race at noon. Maybe you will get a race in before the rain comes by 4pm. It’s going to be like this all summer.
He went from radio to lead announcer for nbc, to pir reporter for NBC and ESPN, back to lead announcer at ESPN. Idk if you heard any broadcasts from 04 up to 06 on NBC you got to hear cringe worth announcing of Bill Webber. Then had to pit report with the fabulous Marty Reid and then got back to the booth after they fired Marty.
Hopefully this weekend's races pay off. It could be the ticket to making the Brickyard 400 weekend something worth looking forward to again. Also gen 4 > gens 5 & 6.
Dude he was the worst commentator of all time between all those cats and the hotrods they were piloting I couldn’t take it anymore On top of that a cardinal sin he committed that I’ve still not forgotten somewhere around 06 he was commentating the Indy 500 and he called it the Daytona 500 🤦🏻
Is it really necessary to „spoil“ the outcome of the race? I mean what’s the sense in watching the race when you know who wins it. It is more fun to see when you don’t remember the outcome of the race.
I was born right before the end of consistently good racing at Indy. I live about 30 mins away, and i went for the first time in 2018, it was ok, and the finish was great. Then i went to the 2019 one. Snooze fest. The most exciting part was when brad keselowski crashed right in front of me
Why on earth are people in the chat leaving rude and hateful stuff to me, I did not do anything and it makes me sad and mad. Can you all not do that!? Plus, I was mad, I used weird emojis in the stream. I cried too. Don’t DO THIS. Or I will report you 😤😭
NASCAR has no clue what a "spoiler" is. They think its a car part rather than giving up the dramatic ending. No need to watch they announced the winner in the title.
Ichigo Kurosaki yeah I just noticed that. And it’s disgusting really because it’s obvious that this race was shot in 16:9 HD. The fact that this is in 4:3 is an insult. I’ve seen old NFL & MLB classic games lately from 2004, 2005, etc. shot in 16:9 HD.
I'm on the verge of becoming a Nascar fan I think. I discovered Formula 1 in 2014 and fell in love but unfortunately they implemented a Halo in 2018 and I can't get past that ruining the sport. I have a question about NASCAR, are the drivers able to do any adjustments to their car during the race? It's kind of striking to me how often they're just lined up in rows going around the track no one getting an inch because they're all at max speed, so it made me wonder if they're able to adjust energy etc to their car like in F1 that could help them overtake. I feel like NASCAR has a little bit of the opposite issue as F1 the cars are TOO evenly matched, or too similar in strengths and weaknesses maybe I should say.
The pit crew can make chassis and tire pressure adjustments during pit stops, but that's about it. The only thing that the driver can really change in car is brake bias.
FYI: The championship margin is much closer average-wise in the last 16 years. In other words, since 2004, the battle for title is much tighter & more exciting than it was from 1998-2003.
God those cars were an aerodynamic masterpiece. Best cars in history.
