- Redondo, Washington, is a popular scuba diving spot primarily due to its unique underwater features and marine life diversity. Here are several reasons why it attracts divers:
Deep and shallow area. Today I followed the Deep line to the Carousel Boat and around the Bottle field where I saw many octopus. Both Giant Pacific Octopus and multiple Red Octopus.
Redondo Beach features an underwater park specifically designed for divers. This park includes sculptures, structures, and other underwater attractions that divers can explore, enhancing the diving experience beyond natural formations.
Located near Seattle, Redondo is easily accessible for local divers and those visiting the area. Its proximity to urban centers makes it a convenient choice for weekend dives or day trips.

Nice! I like seeing new habitat
Yeah, it's always cool to see something new.
Ruby Octopus is really unique to North West Pacific. Small in size but their red is close to crimson in pictures plus those yellow eyes make them truly stand out from the rest of the octopus family. ❤
@linek1234 I love the local octopus and and I'm looking forward to seeing more around the world.
after watching it few times the first octopus in the hideout next to crab looks like a Giant Pacific one because of the eye to tentacles size ratio. am I right?
@linek1234 Yes. That one was pretty huge compared to the others.
