This is so surreal. I'm 27 and Coach K has been the coach of Duke my whole life. I and the whole sports world will miss him.

You can see his wife tearing up on the sidelines...how sweet. Duke has been family to all of Coach K's wife, kids, grandkids. 💙 When Coach K cries, I'm gonna cry.

I remember when he first came to DOOK and turned that program into a powerhouse. I'm a Tarheel through and through and loved every second that Dean Smith was there. Both Coach K and Dean (yes, and Roy Williams too) are what college BB is all about. Thank you gentleman, for a lifetime of fond memories. I hope my next 40 years will see both schools continue the legacy.

As a Duke fan, I'd have to say it was a rather fitting end. Not what I was hoping for, but it does make the story that much better in the long run. The parties on Franklin Street must have been insane last night! Well-deserved victory.

"Depth of field" aka "focus" effects in modern sports is absolutely atrocious and takes away many elements of the scene in every moment it's used in.... Yes, I know Coach K was meant to be the focus of this moment, but why can we not also see the emotions and faces of everyone around him as well? I guess we just can't.... I guess modern sports media thinks we think it's "cool" or something to have some percentage of our screen blurred out, whether it's 90% or 10%.... It should be 0% in my opinion.
