I have a lovely old banjolele (you can see it in my Buster Keaton video) and I’ve tried to get some claw hammer going many times. yours is the first video on the subject that gave me the “aha!” moment. many thanks for the clarity!
Wonderful video! Very nice to see close up of your hand. Thank you for breaking the steps down. I’m new to ukulele and am struggling to mix strumming and singing together
I would love to see more banjolele tutorials from you! How did you learn? I bought a banjolele a couple of years ago and it feels rather alien compared to a regular one. I haven't learned properly.
Elsa, initially play your banjolele just like your ukulele until you are "used to it" (helps if both have the same neck/scale length) then branch out into the clawhammer/frailing and finger picking - it takes a while - don't ask how I know !

Link to exercises and tabs is broken - would love to take a look when you have a moment to fix the link :)
@@Banjoleletinman thanks!
On the tab, what is the first string (highest pitch) ?
Are the strings further apart than on a banjo? It seems you are striking harder than on a regular banjo claw hammer style. Is that so?
I like how you pronounce ukulele
