Oh that’s a nice side by side. We all love the original on a linen card stock. Still there is something about those almost 3D images that looks like they could walk right out of the card or turn and talk to you. I could see how that could be useful in a reading for sure!
You know what, I’ve come to really enjoy the artwork from the Lustrous one. More detail, more emotion, and it seems the characters DO come out of the cards. Thanks for watching and commenting 💚
@@TarotbythePines if you watch Pete Beard’s channel on illustration he talks about techniques. Lots of 1870’s to 1935 illustration info, before photography was king in printed media.
Thank you for showing this! I like the Lustrous cards better, both the size and art. I don't know why the borders grabbed my attention today, but I could do without. Lustrous colors are brighter also.💜💜💜
I filmed this, I don’t know, a few weeks ago, and I’ve really come to love the Lustrous deck. The different colors, compared to the original, really bring out the art. It definitely evokes more emotion. Thanks for watching and commenting, Amy. 💚 hope you’re good
Thank you for the review…. It was very helpful…

The difference is that the traditional shows the heavy ink line with wash of color and the Lustrous version is more painterly
Ooooh that’s a great description of it! Thank YOU! Thanks for watching 💚
