The Juice Is Loose #BeetlejuiceTarotTag
Thanks to Robyn over at @RobynsReflections for creating this hashtag with the most! This fun tag involves which prompt/quote from the 1988 film corresponds with the tarot (or oracle) decks in your deck library! Her video is here: th-cam.com/video/-t8ViUEnO3s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=QmhYuUR0VvTG4CfA
Here are the prompts/quotes:
1. “It's Showtime!” - A deck that feels cinematic.
2. “I'm the ghost with the most.” - A ghoulish deck.
3. “I myself am strange and unusual.” - A deck that’s weird but lovable.
4. “My whole life is a dark room.” - A deck that’s photographic or A deck that feels like you’re looking into a photo.
5. “Nice fuckin' model!” - Details, details, details. A deck that shines in the details.

Discussing My Favorite Tarot Suit: SWORDS ⚔️
There's only a handful of deck reviews and you are the ONLY one Jason who knows what each image is! Thank you ❤ I'm obsessed, I've watched it through at least half dozen times, best thing ever written. I need this deck! Thanks 🥰🍀 P. S. I'm in talks with them over shipping costs, deck is €55 and shipping to Ireland is €52! What the hell like I've gotten stuff from America with Pirate ship for only approx €18 so.. Fingers crossed 🤞 I really NEED this deck Jason ❤ P. P. S. It's a shame they didn't put Bob in the background of the Wheel of fortune card, he was a bit irritating, but he was in the whole show 😢
So the thing is that some people have worked very hard on making this deck... And I must say I find this deck beautiful. Maybe it is just me but looking at the comments, you have persuaded several people not to get this deck - I hope it makes you happy. If I do not like a deck, I will definitely not make a public negative review about it because it is unethical. Maybe you could respect the hard work of others a bit more. My opinion only, of course. I personally love this deck and I understand its concept. The book is very good, the artwork is beautiful and the message of the cards is absolutely clear. This is not my go-to deck but it is a brilliant one. I am hopeful that some people among your commenters have already changed their mind.
Hey there! My intention is to never bash someone else's hard work because I do know it takes a lot of their energy and dedication to their product. While I don't use this deck, I do like some aspects of this deck. I'm always a fan of the production of a Llewellyn deck and this does live up to that. While I may have caused some viewers to not buy the deck, I'm sure some individuals have purchased this deck by watching. This video unboxing/review was me being authentic in my reaction to this deck as I pre-ordered this without seeing many of the cards. I appreciate your feedback and thank you for sharing.
I used to have the same opinion about oracle decks…they’re too fluffy and new agey, etc…but there are some good ones for shadow work like the Dark Mirror. Urban Crow is a really good balanced deck too. That said, I have probably four times more tarot than oracle for a reason 😂😂 😂. I love your channel, thanks for sharing!
Hey, thanks for sharing and watching! I appreciate your kind words. There are some oracle decks that seem to have more substance which I appreciate. Familiar Field Oracle (animal based) seems like a good one that I have my eye on.
I did my own review on this movie! m.th-cam.com/video/R9hEpvjYCKE/w-d-xo.html

Great review thx
Thank you! I hope you had a good spooky season
Fun idea to play with the cards! Thanks for sharing😊
Thanks for watching! I love to do this every year even though I didn’t do it this year ☹️ Hope you had a good spooky season
It personally irked me how inaccurate they got the Tarot cards’ meanings. It didn’t help my case with my dad who keeps freaking out, saying my cards are “demonic.” It’s almost as disrespectful as Etsy forcing me to say that my readings are “only entertainment” when I 100% do not believe that. My cards have never been wrong before and I’m honestly afraid stuff like this will make me and other readers not be taken seriously.
I rewatched Tarot recently and it actually did irk me that the 6 of swords was depicted as the 10 of swords. It left me conflicted. I still think it’s an entertaining movie but it definitely has flaws. I appreciate you watching and sharing
❤
Thanks for watching 🫶🏻
Aww sorry that you didn’t enjoy the sequel as much! I still haven’t seen it yet. Loved your VR and the way you used actual movie clips!Your selections for this tag were awesome. Your choice for the final prompt was particularly on point 👌🏼😂

Thanks so much for doing the tag! This was so fun and I freaking LOVED seeing the clips!! It’s so cool that you put them in 😍Tarot of the Vampires is so cinematic! I think a lot of the cards are based on movies and tv shows which is probably why I love it so muuuuuch!!!
Robyn!! Thank YOU for creating the tag! It was so much fun. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I hope you had a great spooky season 🫶🏻
Hey, Jason, Haven't seen you in so long. I lost contact with you but know how you love your Llewellyn Decks and particularly Everyday Witch. About a month and a half ago, I saw a new deck coming called The Good Fortune Tarot from Llewellyn and I think it's right up your alley. The illustrations even resemble Everyday Witch I think. Keep an eye out for them if you don't already have them and if you do, I look forward to your walkthrough and sharing your opinions.
Hey Robin! I hope all is well! Been busy and all. I saw The Good Fortune and I was going back and forth on getting it but I decided against it. Very tempting. 🫶🏻
Great questions and excellent answers! I'd like to know more about the history, just for my own knowledge. I have questioned whether or not I feel okay about using them, given some religious cards, like Judgement and the Devil. I guess they're just symbolic anyway. I'm sure that's a major reason why I have just used Oracle cards for a long time, but now I'm giving Tarot another chance for some variety. / 💕 I enjoy your videos very much. Thank you, and I hope everything is good with you! 💕
Hey there! Thanks for watching and sharing. I know what you mean. I absolutely think they’re just symbolic. It’s also about how you use the cards. It’s about intention. 🧡 thanks for commenting and I hope to see you around. I’m doing fine here - been busy but got some videos coming out. Hope you enjoy
@@TarotbythePines Great! I look forward to more of your videos. You make it seem like you're having a chat with friends, and that's what makes them so nice and genuine. 💙
This looks like a fun, whimsical deck - I love it! It really helps that you explained the meanings one at a time. I have heard good things about this deck, but yes, one issue is lack of diversity. I will put this one and the oracle deck on my wish list. Thank you for sharing why this one's your favorite. 💜💚🖤
I LOVE this deck and I hope it makes its way into your library eventually. It’s really a fun deck to use. Perfect deck to use around the fall season 🧡
@@TarotbythePines Eventually, yes! I just ordered 2 more Oracle decks of a "darker" nature: the Urban Crow and Anne Stokes Gothic Oracle. Something for Halloween on the way! 🐦⬛🎃🖤 I have to practice restraint in purchasing any more for the rest of the year! 😬
This was very fun. I used my grunge rock deck. The page of swords stabbed the devil because the page had a bad childhood. Then she tried framing the queen of swords for the murder. Lol. The devil had it coming😂 lol
Hey there! I LOVE doing this activity every year. It reminds me of the game Clue which is my favorite board game. Your cards/interpretation was funny! 😄
Thank you! This was very helpful video 🙏
Thanks for watching and that makes me happy 🧡🎃
I love all 3 of your animal decks! Your other ones are so humorous and unique. I have 3 of Steven Farmer's decks: Power Animal Oracle, Messages from Your Spirit Animal Guides, and Messages from the Spirits of Nature. I like how his decks are straight-forward and always seem to work for me. I don't think they're the "fluffy" sort of cards. If you were a person going through a phase of serious depression, you might appreciate the "lighter" messages of the Oracle decks. They have helped me a lot. I enjoyed this video very much, though. Thanks!
@@Cynthia.B hey I hope you’re doing good. Thank you for watching and sharing! I didn’t even think of it like that so thank you for that. I’ll have to look up those oracles 🧡
A really adorable and happy deck. I ordered the tin and it's wonderful and then I wanted the book and larger deck too so I ordered it as well. Every card makes me smile and I love the black kitty that appears on every card. Thanks for the look and I love hearing other people's opinion on decks I have purchased.🎃🧡😻I'm going to use it all year.
That makes my heart flutter! I’m glad you have both versions. I have so many fond memories of learning tarot with this deck. I’m so looking forward to the fall season 🧡 thanks for sharing
@@TarotbythePines I'm looking forward to fall too.🍂🎃🧡😻
OMG!! Everything about this video is chefs kiss 🤌 I'm obsessed with your deck collection! So many beauties! I also love the way you ranked the genres AND showed your movie collection ❤️ just absolutely amazing!! Thanks so much for picking up this tag 🐱
Thank you so much! And thank you for creating the tag. I’m looking forward to more that you create 🧡
I went in expecting not to like it at all and i was so pleasantly surprised at how much i liked it. Other than the actual reading scene i did not enjoy that lol. I wanted them to do more research and be a little more accurate with the signs.
OoOoo the reading scene could have been more accurate? I know barely anything about the signs so it impressed me haha! I’m glad you walked away enjoying it. It’s not bad movie - it just could have been executed better. Thanks for sharing!
I just got the Gourmet Tarot! Some really interesting choices of foods - the Death card is my favourite.
Very interesting choices. I read the guidebook front and back. I wish it was more in depth 🤷🏼I’ll have to do a review soon, thanks for watching 🧡
Ahhhh, Birdcage! And the Conjuring... how did I not mention these. Such great movies!
I LOVE birdcage. Such an underrated movie. I’ll have to watch your VR. Thanks for watching 🧡
I was hoping you'd do a VR to this one and am so happy you did! ❤ I knew you'd have great movie/deck combos.
Thank you Laura! Loved your VR. Always showing unique decks 🧡
Ooohhhh excited to watch this when I get home 🏡❤️
I hope you enjoy it! 🧡🥰
Great video! Loved your choices of movies and decks! Enjoyed hearing your interpretations of the prompts and why you matched each deck! Tarot of Oneness as Western/Adventure suprised me but I love that choice! You've Got Mail is SOO good! 🥰
Thanks for watching, Ryan! I love You’ve Got Mail. One of my favorite movies by Tom and Meg. 🧡

The Black Tarot is definitely superior! It’s such a mood. Thanks for watching and sharing 🧡

Does the technique that she used to read the cards is real? Cuz if it is I wanna learn how to read them like that. And I wanna know the name of it if someone knows...
Hey there! It is real and They used the 12 houses of the zodiac tarot spread. It’s actually a pretty interesting spread to use.
Thank you for the review…. It was very helpful…
Hey there, hope all is well. Thanks for watching 🧡
@@TarotbythePines you are very welcome, your review was very helpful to me as I just posted an RWS review on my channel….👍🏻
@@MysticRob82 just subbed! Watched your wild unknown video
was that a real tarot deck?
It’s a fictional deck BUT they should have had the deck for sale when the movie came out. Thanks for watching
Loved your review, I will be watching this. It actually looks quite creepy but I'm easily scared. I loved that deck though.
Thank you and thanks for watching. Let me know when you watch it. They should have had a deck made when the movie came out but I’m sure it was expensive. 🧡
Thanks for the review. I’ll likely skip this one, cuz I’m a chicken. However, I’m really glad to hear it was well treated. 😊 I’ll admit that I was a bit worried that we would be hiding from the pitch forks after this one but looks like they kept it respectful. Whew!
I appreciate you watching! The movie does respect the art of tarot and honestly not many people have seen it so don’t worry about the pitchforks haha! Maybe it’ll get a boost around Halloween 🧡
I loved your review. Though I don’t like scary moves 😂😂😂. I watched wicked letters this week.
I appreciate you watching! I love scary movies haha but this one wasn’t so you should be fine 😉
I want the deck though....would totally get it if they release it, haha.
They should have had it made so when the movie came out, it would be good promo. Thanks for watching 🧡
I can't handle horror movies, but loved hearing your perspective.
Thank you for watching Robin! 🧡 I don’t know about you but it’s hot here in DC so I’m ready for the fall haha
@@TarotbythePines Do you know Juli Peekaboorose? I think she lives in your neck of the woods.
Wow, I'm impressed by your knowledge of the horror film genre #respect. I won't see this movie but not because of the acting or cinematography or anything related to a "movie." It's because, as you know, we live in some pretty weird times -- lots of emphasis on Christianity and a basic intolerance and purposeful ignorance of other belief systems, whether that's Buddhist or Muslim or pagan. So I don't want to see tarot portrayed in a way that I feel feeds into that. But that's just me. I'm glad you enjoyed it more than you thought were going to.
I appreciate you watching and sharing! Honestly, the creators of the movie seem to respect tarot from what I saw in the film (minus the goof on the ten of swords). But I completely understand, tarot is still a taboo thing. 🧡
Thanks for the review! I'm not a horror movie person, but this one caught my eye. Still haven't decided if I'm gonna watch it.
I appreciate you watching! I think since you’re into tarot, it would be good to watch at least. The astrology aspect is top notch. 🧡
Yeeeeeaaaahhhh… I don’t like the artwork enough to forgive the ball drop on the guidebook. I won’t be purchasing. I love that Evil Dead II was included (my favorite in the series) but I agree with the commenter who mentioned that they skipped Child’s Play! What a missed opportunity! I’m still looking for the *perfect* horror oracle… Thank you for reviewing!
Thanks for watching and sharing! Although not horror but The Halloween Oracle by Stacey Demarco is pretty good. If you’re looking for a horror tarot, you may want to try Todd Alcott’s Horror Tarot which I just acquired. Will do a review on that soon. 🧡
@@TarotbythePinesyes, I have Todd Alcott’s Horror Tarot and Pulp Tarot-ADORE them both!! 😍😍 Just looking for a good oracle to pair them with… it’s a never ending obsession, I’m discovering 😅😆
@@TarotbythePinesokay, yes. The Stacey Demarco Halloween Oracle might fit the bill. Thank you for the suggestion!
I really enjoyed this, Jason! I have been using oracles a lot more and have grown a stronger appreciation for them, but I'm definitely *way* more selective about which ones I buy. I also have to make a more concerted effort to incorporate them into my my daily draws and readings.
Hi Juli!! I hope you’re doing good! Whenever I’m not feeling tarot, a good oracle deck does the trick 😉🧡
I tend to rely on tarot, and normally only buy oracle decks for the art. Even so, I resisted buying Danielle Noel's beautiful Ocean Dreams oracle because too many of the cards seemed to have the same meanings. Oracle decks are often really affirmation decks, and that's not what I need (though the Personal Power Oracle by Deja Drewit is very empowering, for women). The only oracle deck I use is the Urban Crow, which for some reason speaks to me more than the same artist's (MJ Cullinane) Crow Tarot does.
Hey thanks for watching and sharing. I agree - oracle cards are more affirmation which I don’t necessarily need at this time haha. They are more like friends but when it comes to tarot, they are best friends that tell it like it is. 🧡
Are you psychic? I have a pile of oracle decks on the floor for a video. They can be fun, but you're right, they are free range.💜
Heyyyyy I’m looking forward to that video 🧡🧡
