My precious cat was sick for a year before he crossed the rainbow bridge last month. He had the same symptom - he had a hard time to pee and ended up having a kidney disease. Every time it happened, I was worried but he survived his sickness thrice. We didn't know it was his last day on Jan. 29 and we weren't able to say goodbye to him. I miss him everyday.
I hope Nanny Nanna will have a complete recovery soon! Get well baby Nanna!

Poor Nanna! That must have hurt! My Norwegian Forest Cat Merri had a urinary blockage last summer. I learned that putting a few drops of apple cider vinegar in their (wet) food helps to regulate the pH in the bladder so it can prevent crystals and stones from forming ❤

this is why its so important to feed wet food only. by nature, cats do not have a good enough thirst drive to get their hydration from water. Thats why they get so many urinary tract infections and kidney stones. I mix a little bit of water into my cats wet food.

Question time ➡ so WHAT's the solution for the kidney stones then? We didn't get to hear it from the vet in this video (edited out?). Antibiotic shot is only for the infection problem, rite?
For hooman, drinking LOTSSSSS of Ural (?) MAYBE can remove small kidney stones (dissolved & came out through urination). Or nowadays just simple laser treatment or whatever can blast those kidney stones away. But...solution for meows??? 🤔
Anyway ~ whatever the solution, hope everything goes well for our Gentle Nanny Nanna & she'll get well soon!🙏

Poor Nanna. It's sad to see that she is very sick. She is struggling to go to the toilet only peeing little by little but she is drinking water well. Cats don't show a lot of pain so it must be painful for Nanna. She meows adorably and keeps responding to Hazel but doesn't show her pain. Gemma cries because she couldn't find Hazel upstairs so she goes down and Hazel comforts her. She wants to greet Nanna but Nanna refuses after she has been by bullied by her countless times. Nanna heads offs to the hospital. She cried all the way there by car but when she arrived she was calm. She was gentle during the whole checkup and barely made a sound. She was shy to look around so she went back inside her carrier. Hazel went to her and gave her the treat which made her comfortable. Nanna has a bladder infection caused by kidney stones. It must have hurt a lot so the doctor gives Nanna an injection. She was nervous when the syringe arrived but she was brave throughout and stayed still. When she arrives back, she follows Hazel up and down the stairs making sure she is with her. Sending well-wishes to Nanna hope she gets better soon. Sending wishes to the butlers as well for good health and great video.
