  • Last time you watched us get the roller painting done and the decal work. With that now buttoned up it was time to seal the seams so the decals sit tight to the body giving maximum protection rater than sitting on top of the seam sealant. With this now being taken care of the real buzz of a task of adding all the new amazing products we make and supply on our web shop. In this, part 4 we at least make a start on this but do stay tuned for part 5 as there is a lot more to follow.
You won't find us on Patreon. You won't ever see us making these videos to sell you a VPN service, hipster health shakes or some power bank that you don't need in a vehicle that already has a power bank from factory!! If you like what we create then we have a fully comprehensive website that we actually work at as a real job and can supply you with all your van parts and adventure gear that we physically hold stock of and everything is shipped with care by ourselves. Pushing lazy amazon affiliate links and telling you it is helping the channel out isn't our bag...
Check out www.campervanculture.com it keeps us doing what we do.

Great winch/bumper install, very neat! I had a 1995 T3 combi, 1,8lt golf motor-fantastic vehicle, for 10 years, not a moments problem- til my brother in law wrote it off -I'd done over 400 000km (240000 miles), took it everywhere, the kids loved it.. I'd installed a front bullbar with a winch bracket, bolted directly to the chassis, and mounted a 10000 lb Warn winch for hauling my rubber ducky off beaches, dams onto a trailer. The van had a fantastic gearbox, ideal gear ratios, could tow a 1 ton trailer quite easily. That bullbar setup setup saved my brother in laws life- he'd lost control of the van, plunged down a steep slope straight into a very solid gumtree-the bulbar and chassis took the full brunt of the collision, the chassis twisted in the process, in turn twisting the engine, seats, steering, pedal cluster mountings-I literally cried. He would have been fine but he wasn't wearing his safety belt, got flung around the cabin, broke his left wrist. In any other car, he'd have been a goner- his kids would've been fatherless. That van was by far the best vehicle I ever owned.

Finally. . . a quality bumper set for the Syncro. This will be a future upgrade .
Also, your videos are the reason I have an '87 Syncro that I am restoring.
    Thank you Jed.

Enjoyed watching this Jed, fine job on the bumper, solid, well made and gives a staunchy look to the vehicle, love to see a video of the winch working once fitted, ive a thought, i wonder is it possible to have something similar on the rear to feed the winch cable from the front underneath and through, just incase you needed to winch yourself out backwards?
    👍🚙👌☘️🇨🇮

If you have a Syncro with the factory under body protection then I wouldn’t see any reason why you couldn’t.

Hi Jed, your videos are really nice and interesting, thank you! May I ask you which kind of paint did you use to paint the top of the roof (I mean the black one where you have fitted the new stainless steel tie down cleats)? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration, have a great day 😅

Is it the 215/75/r15 mud terrain you've got fitted Jed?

Is there an option to have a trailer receiver hitch on both the front or rear bumper?
