🎉 HotDamn! This is amazing news 🥂🍾 Thanks for spreading the word, now Bambu can get back to releasing the larger printer which this lawsuit pushed back the rollout of. 👍
@@33rdframe yeah they were hinting at Q3 2024 for almost a year now, and that has come and gone so the Holiday season release is a bust… But you know if a line of credit is available the printers will fly off the shelf like hotcakes anytime of year.
Look at how many patents Bambu has… and they will be suing others just as well. Other 3D print vendors create and give back to open source. Every 3D printer copies from each other.
edit: nvm, they dropped two defendants but not Bambu whew. When I heard of the lawsuit, I starting to worry as a Bambu fanboy, but knowing they dropped the case, I can feel some relief as I highly doubt a jury would fully understand the details of this case. I was literally searching everywhere, and just note that some of Stratysis's patents should not even legally exist as they at the time would be obvious improvements that were just not implemented because members of the Rep Rap movement just cannot afford the manufacturing process for it.
Gosh I’m so glad i found your channel!! You rock!

They are a company like form labs that's trying to create a barrier of entry and that barrier is money and it's disgusting
