I'm no expert, but might have something to do with the chords chosen for the harmonic progression and its interaction with the melody. It uses suspended chords, which sound unresolved, tense and surprising, just like tomorrow. The melody revolves around an augmented 4th, which sounds elevated, spiritual or holy, out of human comprehension, just like life itself. As I commented on a Zappa's live rendition, this song seems to comprise the meaning of life, which might be that life has no greater meaning at all. We're passengers and should enjoy every moment as its uniqueness requires. It's hard to describe emotions, but I tried, that's how I feel everytime I cry to this tune. Hope it touches your heart and you find some meaning!

It is one of his signature songs & as such cannot legally be played by anyone but Dweezil. He would NOT be pleased that someone is illegally performing his music.

Frank Zappa fan for almost 60 years. Amazing. I wish Frank had read the Bible. If he had, he still would have been Frank Zappa, only I believe he would have been a Disciple of Jesus. This, I believe, is Frank's finest composition. He poured his very soul into this.
This is absolutely awful. This is one of Frank Zappa's signature songs, & as such NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO PLAY THIS SONG except Dweezil. This performance is a violation. Legally & morally, it is illegal. SHAME ON YOU.
Modern day composers refuse to die. We met Dweezil and he appreciate our renditions. We don't know if Frank appreciates our work, nobody knows, but we try to keep him alive playing his music. We like everyone is playing Zappa music. Music is the best.

An amazing rendition of Frank's classic. This song brings on the tears like no other.
It is one unusual piece in FZ's catalogue - unusually moving, and Andrea is doing a fantastic job there. You can feel FZ every second of it.
You almost think with the harsh opening monologue that Frank almost wanted to avoid the poignancy...
