It was all we had back then. No TH-cam. No Netflix. No streaming. If you wanted to watch your favorite shows you had to legitimately BE THERE ON TIME lol. Remember my parents telling us to go outside and play when their shows came on at 7 too. Good times when access to everything wasn't immediate you appreciated it much more.
This is why I apprecaite some things modern, I was born in 1980 and grew up in NJ, a lot of these cartoons from what I can remember was not really playing in my area, or maybe I just missed them all together, thanks for sharing these great memories I now have much more to watch as I sit and eat my Cap'N Crunch as a 42yr man

A Dark Stalkers remake would be nice, I grew up in Essex County NJ it was a blast in the 80's
Man, I really forgot what a treat that The Tick was 🥰🥰 Truly one of the most unique and stand out shows of the 90s. As a kid, it's just goofy and funny, and when you watch it with adult eyes, you can really get a true appreciation for what a spoof of comics it is. Great music. Brilliant jokes. Arthur was hilarious as the straight man to the Tick all the time. It's unfortunate that all revival attempts have been met with failure. The early 2000s Fox live action show was short lived. The Amazon Prime show, which I loved, got cancelled. I just hope that this generation gets a cartoon or something substantial with The Tick. Its always cool stuff like this that gets lost to time.
These cartoons were a tad bit past my youth, but I do fondly remember The Tick. If I remember correctly it was on the USA Network. One of the better Cable-TV networks. They had some great live action TV shows as well. Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, Psych, White Collar, Royal Pains, and Suits plus there are others, but these were my favorites. I didn't really get into these cartoons, since I worked 3rd shift, and when I'd get home quite a few times I'd crash before they came on. However it is awesome to get the chance to get to see them now. Thank you for sharing these videos with us. I really love a blast to the past.

Remember watching all of these and quite a few more like Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Biker Mice from Mars, Centurions and Doug. Then Saint Seiya released and it was game over for 98% of American Animation.
The Cadillacs & Dinosaurs comics were classic. That guy is such a good artist (and kept getting better). I was surprised when I noticed the cartoon. I don't think I watched an episode.

The guy was very impressive around 1990. a decade or so later, I saw more of his art, and couldn't believe how much better it was. He started out with the style of Wally Wood, but when I saw his work much later, he had gone full Hal Foster. It was unbelievable.

The Superfriends, Scooby-Doo, the Flintstones, and my favorite of all-time is, The Bugs Bunny/Road-Runner Show. Then afterwards AWA's All-Star Wrestling show came on, followed by Star Trek and Kung-Fu with David Carradine. My Mom loved those shows, and she even watched professional wrestling with me. Those were some of the best times ever! Have my Mego Superheroes action figures on the floor ready to battle the evil Planet of the Apes figures. Kids nowadays have no idea what they are missing. Technology, while it's extremely helpful and useful, can become a substitute for any type of interaction. That's not healthy. Back then we had the Atari 2600, but on a sunny morning myself and my buddies would jump on our bikes and take off for the trails in the woods. Maybe go 🎣🐟fishing🐠🎣at "Mud Lake" or build a fort? Play football, baseball, kickball, or ???? We didn't need all this technology, we had our IMAGINATIONS! And that was more then enough and boy did we have fun! However Saturday mornings were ALWAYS about the cartoons! I really miss those days!

Great properties, not so great product, but nostalgic none the less! At about this time, while I watched these too, I discovered the REAL Anime: Boah, Lensman, MSG: War in the Pocket, Vampire Hunter D, Urotsukidoji, Project A-KO, and Nausicca. Everything changed when I watched AKIRA.......there was no turning back......to Saturday Mornings!

(I remember watching commercials for 'Gross Magic' packages back when I was growing up as a Sane Gen Z in the 2000s) Remember the time when Super Soakers weren't pump-activated, had triggers and were largely derivative of the now widely reissued XP1000? Remember that odd time in Street Fighter history where the adaptations were pushing Guile as the lead, moreso in the TV show where he lead a GI Joe-like clandestine organisation literally named Street Fighter than the first LA movie (the exception at the time was the Street Fighter II Anime Film)? REMEMBER DARKSTALKERS? God it's so fascinating to be born after the fact yet still be intrigued and fascinated by these things, ya know?

Soon after 2000, cartoons art isn't as detail as it used to be and its got boring...Beast wars onwards, most cartoons sux with poor details and shadings.

It had an ultra short lifespan from september to december in 1995. It did poorly ratings wise. I vaguely remember seeing one episode and that was it. Which of course led to me getting really confused later on by the Dalkstarters (Night Warriors) short anime series, which is far more inline with the games but is definitely not Saturday morning okay. Took me a hot minute to realize there had been two different animations made.
How to they draw 1000's of Drawings so well each week? for a 22 Minute show where there is 4 Drawings per second. They are Drawn so well also. The Animator must be able to complete each drawing in under 5 minutes,

It had an ultra short lifespan from september to december in 1995. It did poorly ratings wise. I vaguely remember seeing one episode and that was it. Which of course led to me getting really confused later on by the Dalkstarters (Night Warriors) short anime series, which is far more inline with the games but is definitely not Saturday morning okay. Took me a hot minute to realize there had been two different animations made.
How to they draw 1000's of Drawings so well each week? for a 22 Minute show where there is 4 Drawings per second. They are Drawn so well also. The Animator must be able to complete each drawing in under 5 minutes,
