    I know this is an old video, but the mint green bin looks exactly like an old flour bin that was my grandmothers. Mine is pale blue and has flour written on in white, but it’s exactly the same shape and the handles are the same too. It has a lid, it looks like yours might have had a lid too. Great video. Thank you 👍

      I think it probably did have a lid at some point! I wonder how old it is?

      @@NatashaNewtonArt ..well, mine is from the 1920s/30s, so I’m guessing yours could be a similar era. I use quite a lot of my grans stuff for my artwork, I have a cut glass sugar bowl for collecting my pencil shavings, and a set of tiny 1900s white cake plates I use for mixing paint 😱😂

    Hi Natasha, loving your channel and your work. What is it you like about working with Gouache over acrylic?

    • @NatashaNewtonArt
      @NatashaNewtonArt  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Becky, I really love both of them! I use acrylic for my canvas paintings, and acrylic gouache, regular gouache or watercolour for my paintings on paper. :)

      Thank you! That's very kind, but I've tried Patreon and it wasn't for me! I'm much happier just sharing openly on TH-cam where everyone can access the videos - and if they can watch the ads / use my Jackson's link / give a small donation via my Ko-fi page...well, any of that helps with the running of the channel. 🧡 But just watching, sharing, liking, commenting etc. all helps. :)

    Hi Natasha, I’m a new subscriber and I would really love to join your Patreon but the AUD isn’t worth much unfortunately, so it’s a bit unaffordable for me. The $20 tier for example would be more like $30 for me sadly, which is very much out of my reach. I really love your channel and look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work and finding out your exciting news!💕xx

    • @NatashaNewtonArt
      @NatashaNewtonArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries at all, Sharon! Firstly, thank you so much for subscribing to my channel! That in itself is a huge support. I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the videos. :) Secondly, Patreon is most definitely just an addition and I will keep creating content for TH-cam in the same way as I do now. I offered three tiers $3/$10/$20, but I may add a $5 tier to make it accessible to more people - I've been thinking about it! Anyway, thank you for checking it out and I totally understand - if people want to join I'd be thrilled, but if not, I'm just happy that you're watching and enjoying my channel and my work! xx

    maybe the bin had a lid and was for food scraps to take out to the compost bin or the pigs 🐖

      I think you might be right, Faye! I have a feeling that it did have a lid at one point.

    Your art is inspiring, but the music that you have put on this video is louder. Requesting you to put the music subtle in the background.

    • @NatashaNewtonArt
      @NatashaNewtonArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm sorry that you found the music too loud in this one - I will bear that in mind for future videos. I normally try to make sure the music doesn't overpower the voiceover/audio etc., but will take more care in the future.
