A Brit here. What a long overdue relief this all is. Although I have my criticisms of Starmer and his Labour party, but I am very happy to see the Tories gone.

What a difference! The gracious departure of Sunak and the polite acknowledgement of his ptedecessor's efforts by incoming Sir Kier, stand in stark contrast to Washington DC in Jan 2021. A six-week national campaign, voting yesterday, results overnight, new guy takes over just 12 hours after polls closed. Done and dusted. Perhaps America might learn some lessons here.

He has a big job as do the British people. As a UK citizen living overseas I have not been proud of my country since the mess created by Cameron and his greed and giving the mob the vote on Brexit , followed by the lies of the pathetic clown Johnson who was led by the nose by spin doctors and the extreme right. I hope that this new labour will spread positivity and success to the UK and send signals throughout the world that we can defeat politicians and political parties who think only of their own personal gain and once again put the people and the nation first rather than themselves and their wealthy friends and donors.

The issue is the people who voted themselves into this mess with the likes of Nigel, Boris, and the gang will somehow perform the most insane mental gymnastics to transfer all the blame to Labour if there is no immediate turn around.
