These Ruby Slippers are just ABSOLUTELY stunning! The bright crimson red especially in the bows is insane. My eyes couldn't stop looking! The look exactly like the ones in the film to a tee! I mean you having these ruby slippers would make any Oz fan jealous, heck it would probably make Judy Garland herself jealous, rest her soul. Thanks for the vid! :D
By the way I've seen sooo many replicas of the those precious slippers and some were good but these, my gosh, are for sure by far the best that I have seen. New Oz fanatics are emerging all the time especially with books and broadway shows like Wicked and the new Oz The Great & Powerful movie coming out. The ruby slippers in the Return to Oz movie were pretty nice too.
oh my god you are so very clever,i have a story concerning a pair of supposedly original ruby slippers going back to the very early seventies in the west end of londons theaterland. I think your attention to detail and workmanship is quite frankly awe inspiring,, steven
Hi John! I just went to Hollywood and I just saw a replica pair at the Hollywood Museum. For some reason the man at the front desk tried to tell me they were real, I showed him why and how he is wrong and he couldn't believe how much i knew about the shoes! Your are beautiful as well!
That is so neat, Mark! Can you send me close-up photos of your real cloth label? I'd love to see it, as the only ones that have been documented are the ones in Roberta's pair and mine. They all have very distinct stitching, and those "ruby slipper" labels were only used for such a short time in their silk wedding pumps, as ISC changed their logo very often, not only in actual medium (cloth tags and heat press stamps), but design. it's so intriguing! I'm excited to see yet another original label!
Hi Mark. Thanks for the Oz love! Your slippers are beautiful as well! I've been researching and studying the slippers for over 25 years now, (including The Innes Shoe Company in all of it's locations and manufacturing). I love your rhinestone slippers! I wonder how a (very rare) mid-30's woven label got into a pair of 1940's pumps?!! Schrum Studios sells very nice replica's...I hope someone didn't dupe you! Either way, they are fantastic. Keep up the good work!
R.I.P JOHN, We will miss you! Fly over the rainbow to Judy.
Dave Crawford what he's dead
i would totally love those ruby slippers
