Steve Martland, who wrote this piece, was English and his music is performed with some regularity in the UK, the Netherlands and other parts of Europe, though sadly not as much as it should be! This great album of his music was released last year: www.nmcrec.co.uk/recording/martland

A fine example of "I've got nothing to say, but my connections are going to bellow it from the rooftops with a loudhailer!" Try this. th-cam.com/video/-t9J3mC7zcY/w-d-xo.html

@ Belin- "Discount Version"!? Made me laugh! This is without a doubt the best performance of this piece you will see on TH-cam, until A) Someone releases footage of the Steve Martland Band performing it, or B) The same arrangement is posted being played better by a different ensemble, which is doubtful. I think it's a good thing that what we call 'contemporary classical' music can be subject to re-arrangement which suits any given ensemble. Surely, if done well, it reflects the strength and nuance of the original intent? There's nothing 'discount' about arrangements- quite the opposite. In this instance, BOACAS have utterly nailed it. Resect and regards to them all, but Dave Cossin in particular (go and look at the kit/marimba parts and imagine his sleepless nights). Cheers! Simon.

El progresivo al cuadrado,geniales.
Sounds to me that Steve Martland found his inspiration in hard traffic to an interesting day of work....but I like it.
