Setup Trifold Brochure on Illustrator

You're free to change the size. It all depends on the thickness of the paper too.

can you teach me more abou the dimensions required to make a brochure? im currently new at this stuff and i need some help to get started...the dimensions you used here,is it applicable in all types of brochure?

There are many type of brochure or folds for brochure. So the dimension for the brochure really depends on the type of fold you use. General rule of thumb is to do the folds on a physical paper say A3, folded into 4 parts and then you measure each parts. You'll also need to take note of the type of paper used. Thicker paper, you should give more allowance when folding. All the best!
