Thanks for your video that find out easily faulty chip with simple test .I'am regularly watching your precious work .I am from India, kerala state.Kollam-12.one is your loving brether.
I ordered a batch from china and waiting for part to arrive. This chip appears to be common on TV's. Doing more research, it appears to be an ESD protection chip. It plays an important role so that when ESD strikes, it diverts current to ground to protect the circuit.
Stupid question, which lead you have testing the capacitors, and which the other lead not visible on the camera is where? I’m new into smd components lol thanks a lot guys.

His very knowledgeable but I don't think the area where he works is clean or enough care is taken to ensure no damage or scratching happens while handling some of these goods ...
@VA,if you have seen his other videos then you will not complained about space,he has two work benches, one for microsoldring and one for assembling the finished job,i hope you`re hear to learn why not take the knowledge he is offering for free and leave the rest, his workshop is organized.

Instead of removing components, couldn’t you measure resistance values with higher resolution to figure out which component is closest to 0 ohms?

We use Commercial Grade rubber ESD mats hence the blue color of the benches. Scratches will not happen.
