I actually agree with Dan saying that people rather YOU get to know THEM rather then they get to know you. It's not just in Big Brother, even at jobs. Bosses don't open up because it's "policy" but really it's so they can know you and see how you work, so when shit hits the fans they will either believe you or not based on how you act and not what you say. I've always said in BB, you have to be a good talker but good listener. He also hit the nail on the head, many don't see it as a game and get bitter. I will NEVER get mad over BB though. It's life changing money, you gotta do what you gotta do and if you bring PERSONAL morals onto BB then the game isn't for you. There are 15 to 16 targets in that house on Day 1 but only one is the winner and only one is the runner up.
