    The his will be my next purchase. I’ll probably have to buy the Lightning and then get a RealSim F-16 grip later. Then I think I’ll have everything I want stick wise.
    Virpil T-50 CM2 with TM grips for A-10, F-15, F-18, Harrier along w/ Virpil F-14 grip.
    Throttles: TM Warthog, WinWing Orion 2 F-18, Orion 2 F-16.
    Since the F-16 is my fav to fly since the early 2000’s (Falcon BMS) this will be dedicated just to it.
    All the buttons on the Real Sim stick are 5 position switches. Simply for more options. Can deactivate and make them all work just like the real aircraft in the included software. If this is the V2 stick, it should also have a haptic feedback (vibration) built in.
    Real Simulator does indeed do HOTAS controls for DOD simulators.
    I don’t mind the box given this Bluetooth equipped version of the stick costs 790 euros ($787 at time of posting this). It should come with an enclosure that shows it’s value. Kinda like buying a high end sports car will come with certain bells and whistles.
    Also, is that the CE grip or the Non- slip grip? I’m guessing it’s the non-slip version with the rubberized coating.

    Did you manage to figure out which cable goes to which socket for your setup? I recently got the same kit and I am also confused lol

    Hello, I’m hooking my R3L3 up tomorrow and alittle confused about the connection inside of it. I got the RS F16 grip also. Did you have to connect any of the connector inside of the R3L ? Not much instructions on what to do with those 2 connectors. Thanks for any info

    Talk about a upgrade!
    That would be like going to sleep in your cave and then wake up today!

    Did the stick come with any additional things to block the hat movement? I noticed in some of the realsimulator pictures the additional hats like the Pickle button seem to have a rubber looking grommet around it that might stop it from moving in the 4 additional directions. Just curious of those are completely different sticks or if there might be something else additional in the side stick box?

      @novasatori - Nothing additional in the box. I'm going to do a part two of the video but ALL buttons on the joystick are also 8 way hat switches with a 9th down position as well. I've actually found this to be quite handy so far. Also, for thwe most part, sliding into the right hat position has been pretty smooth.

    Hey K C, I've been thinking about buying the R3L, but curious, do you need to do anything with the wires in the base, or do anything with the WH base? I don't use target, and would only use the grip in the end.

    Does it work with the warthog stick? would love to have the realistic F-16 pressure sensor

      Yes, I've been meaning to make a part two for the controller so I'll do that today or tomorrow and then message you here once it is done.

    My original plan when I first told you about that stick a couple months ago was to only get the fssb base and use the thrustmaster f-16 grip. I think that grip is more realistic with the buttons etc.

      I think they went to excessive making every button into a hat switch

    • @xcandiottix
      @xcandiottix  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @zbysiek Yeah, I haven't had a chance to fly with it yet but I'm probably going to deactivate the the hat on some of them to avoid the misclicks that I know will happen.

      @SpaceMonkey37 Can I ask, on the Thrustmaster, is the base with that also pressure sensitive rather than a motion stick? Or does the TM move forward backward left right etc.

    • @spacemonkey037
      @spacemonkey037 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@xcandiottix no, the tm warthog base functions like your old x52. However, if you buy the tm f-16 stick you will only receive the grip and not the base, you have to buy the base separately. The TM f-16 grip is exactly the same as the warthog, but the button labels are corrected to the f-16. The TM grips have a very real feel. All metal and the buttons are heavy since you don't accidentally want to press anything.

      @@spacemonkey037 did you proceed with this plan of combining the TM F-16 grip with an FSSB base? because that's what I'm aiming for. I wonder if the weight of the metal grip is an issue when using the force sensing base.
