Your mom's place is so nice and bright. I could totally live there! My mom was the same with keeping stuff. When I saw the dog that bubble bath came in, it reminded me of an Avon bubble bath I had. The container was a lady with a fancy dress on and my mom kept that for years and years on display in her bathroom. It got all yellowed with age. She grew up in the depression and never threw anything out! lol

Darlene, I love how you were able to help your Mum, and keep her close, by having this 'granny flat' built. A lot of old people get so lonely when their spouse passes. I wish I could have done the same for my parents each in turn. Love you Darlene 💕

Beautiful tour-thanks for sharing no ones house is ever immaculate-don’t let them fool you. My house is only clean enough to be comfortable. Too clean is not comfortable its only for show most of the time.

it's weird the similarities between us darlene..I had 2 sisters we had the same colors of hair as the 3 of you. the lamb...I had one of them when I had my 1st daughter, but it was pink. I have the same washer as you guys. I will say that your mom. is lucky that you treat her so well and look out for the things she enjoys in life. I can't wait to see you side..

I so love what you've done! I want to desperately do the same thing 4 my mother and my grandmother, but they were supposed to be separate living quarters and it is just too expensive right now! If you don't mind my asking, how much did that cost?
Hi Darlene, you said that your mother should have worked with flowers, did she work at something else besides raising her children, which is a full time job. :) Prayers for you and your Mom♥
She only ever worked outside of the home a couple of times when she was young and not for long. She got a job once when I was little and it only lasted 4 hours. lol
