- The Golden State Warriors have been eliminated from the NBA Playoffs. Despite the best efforts of Stephen Curry, the Warriors bowed out to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Semifinals in 6 games. Their game 6 loss caps off an up and down season that ends with a lot of uncertainty. Will the Warriors resign Klay Thompson and Draymond Green? Will the Warriors trade Jordan Poole? Does Bob Meyers step down? With all these questions it makes you wonder, if the Warriors Dynasty is finally dead...

well, I would not say 100% dead until Steph retires, we can't make the same mistake that happened with Tom Brady. Also, Steph does know how it is to be like Damian Lillard, that's what 2021 was when they couldn't make the playoffs by losing both play-in games.
People acting like warriors didn't win the championship last year, and Curry is 35 arguably a top 3 player in the league. The only thing the warriors need is a consistent player who can give you 15 or 18 points a game, which poole and Wiggins were supposed to be. As a warriors fan, people should know what to expect. klay, he's a touch and go player, and people should stop expecting him to be a number 2 option at this point with all the injuries he had

@wolverineminer if Wiggins pr poole can average 15 or 18 a game, we can win a championship again, which, imo Wiggins can be that for us. I'm willing to trade poole for a catch and shooter who can play defense. We are not getting a big name player off a poole trade, and we might gonna have to let go of kuminga or Moody to get that player. Player who can consistently give 15 or 18 points or a catch and shoot player who can play good D.
@@kinglightning5256 As a rational warriors hater, I don't think anybody wants to take Poole and his massive contract with how he's performed throughout the season and post season. You'd be lucky to even find a team who is interested in Poole with his contract. management jumped the gun with him. Wiggins should've gotten Poole's contract as he was definitively the better player between the 2 but Wiggins can't fix the warriors issues. Its tied to chemistry, regression and cap space. I still believe Curry is that guy who can torch teams, but not Klay. Klay with all his injuries and his struggles and now being asked to take a pay cut, I don't think Klay would stay when he can get paid elsewhere with teams that are none the wiser.
The only way I see the warriors make another run is to get rid of their core and rebuild for a win now team. keeping only Curry cause he is still that guy
The NFL doesn’t have the NBA’s CBA. There’s no real cap. They can cut guys & re-structure contracts. You can’t do that in the NBA.

Bro, Steph only had the best supporting cast ever when KD was there which was literally 3 years of his 15 year career!!! Stop with this BS. Steph suffered from 2009-2012 with bad teammates and ankle injuries. He admitted he wanted to be drafted by the Knicks and was super disappointed to be drafted to what was then the worst team in the league by a landslide! 2020 and 2021 Steph literally was out for a season then he dragged a team all by himself to the 8th seed. To say that he's never felt what it's like to have to do everything himself is just plain wrong.
Also Klay and Dray are amazing teammates but were drafted by the Warriors! It is not like they poached them from some other team. In Draymond's case, literally every team in the NBA had a chance to pick him but they didn't! Wiggins is an All-star caliber player but when he got traded to the Warriors everyone (including myself as a Warriors fan) thought it was a TERRIBLE trade. Wiggins was widely believed to have one of the worst contracts in the league at the time and it was the Warriors who changed him into an All-Star.
Yes Steph has great teammates. That's the result of a great front office and great culture (which he helped create with his leadership). It is not Steph's fault that other front offices are terrible at drafting or that they have bad team cultures.
Also as a Warriors fan the dynasty is not necessarily over, but we absolutely cannot mess up free agency. They have one shot this summer to make a big swing with the assets they have (Poole+Kuminga+multiple firsts). If they get a solid package of role players, they absolutely have a chance to win the chip next year.

All I'm going to say is that people said the dynasty was over when lost to the Raptors in the finals and lost KD to the nets. Also, klay tore his acl in 2019. People said the dynasty was over when we lost to the Lakers and Grizzlies in the play-in in 2021. We won the championship last year and as warriors fan i knew we wasn't going to win or make the finals. The onlything the warriors are missing is a consistent 15 or 18 point per game score which poole and Wiggins was supposed to be. If we get that and curry still playing at this high of level the dynasty is not over yet.
The core is cooked tho. Iggy doesn’t play anymore, Klay has regressed to a bench player and many wanna trade Draymond. At this point is just Steph.

As a warriors fan, I know klay will never be the klay he used to be, and he is a touch and go player at this point of his career, but we've proven we can win a ring despite klay Inconsistency. Now, for Wiggins, we need him to be that second option and average 15 or 18 points a game, which i feel like he has a better chance than doing than poole. For poole, he's too much of a defensive liability. If he's not scoring, there's literally nothing else he does for us. If we are going to trade poole, we are possibly going to have to trade kuminga as well. For us to get that player who can give us a consistent 15 to 18 points a game and who is not a liability on defense or a catch and shoot player who's a good defender. The only big blow we will take next year is not having Draymond if he leaves.

@@professora1213 We don't know that. Bradley Beal and Dame have obviously stayed loyal despite the fact they have mediocre teams and in a different universe where the Warriors don't draft Klay, perhaps Steph is the one in mediocrity with a super max deal.
However I do know a fact: Steph signed an extension in 2012 1 year after they drafted Klay Thompson (who was not an all-star caliber player) and before the team had even made the playoffs! Durant also left and Klay did not play for 2 and a half years and Steph never once complained about having to shoulder the load.
