@@0whispersinthedark0 You're awesome, stick to it. I'm neurodivergent (not med diagnosed ASD) I found the music I could not "feel" very hard to learn. My teacher is very flexible on how I learn and works with me. Currently working on Bach cello suite #1, The Cranberries Zombie, and of course scales.

I’ve been playing for 16 years, I play all the stringed instruments cello will always be my favorite I am lucky to own a extremely sought after cello it is old from the 1500ds and absolutely beautiful sounding. I wrote a song similar to this and I just love hearing this kind of music knowing others enjoy it too

I searched for "evil cello music" after listening to the Transformers Decepticons theme (absolutely menacing btw) and this was the first result. Was not disappointed.

Ahh, truly a melancholic piece. The sound of sadness accompanied by loneliness (its how i hear it) is just beautiful and sad.
Darkness comes, and the night is returning. The rain patters on the withered hay. The trees mourn. Ravens dig the Earth, their souls they turn to grey. All is lost, nothing gained, when the dragon comes to play.
The shadows they lie and in the black they work, whispers and wonders today.
The past returns and the future fickle when the dragon comes to play.
The final stretch, the final game, the final hurrah today. We say goodbye, our friends, our lives, when the dragon comes to play.

Best of luck with that I did a complete restoration of one that was over 200 years old and basically came as a box of bits. Took nearly 2 years to get it back together again.
But we'll worth it in the end as it is a superb instrument that leaves many other cellos standing.

But it's more powerful than emotionally renching! Some of the tones from cellos and French horns can just pull your heart out! The pipe organ just doesn't have quite the impact On me, now... It might be different for you. That's just my opinion. I try to never down play anyone's emotional attachment/attraction to music. That can start as many if not more arguments than religion or politics!!
But yeah the organ can be a very emotional instrument!

I understand this "dark" music might sound sad to some, but to me this music makes me feel some of the HAPPIEST I ever felt. I have persistent depressive disorder where I feel an undertone of sadness on a daily basis despite a lovely life. I kinda describe it as I experience the world through a blue tinged filter everyday. Anyway - I feel like this music resonates with thatt dark part of me but instead of amplifying sadness, I feel beauty amplified. I feel like this music is the soundtrack to my day to day, and it makes me really happy, because there's a beauty you can only experience through sadness. The weeping of this cello as an example. Super thankful to have found this music!

This music feels like it's the climax of a life or death scene in a tv/movie/anime, and the protagonist contemplates their decisions on whether or not they have to take this action and if it is morale enough to go through with it; ultimately breaking down because in the end, they don't have the will to go through with it or knows it is morally wrong to do so. I love this and I'm saving this to my music folder.

Excellent music for a funeral as the casket is carried to the hearse or lowered into the ground, sad but somewhat pleasant music driving home the harsh reality of life and inevitable death.
This is so beautiful and haunting! Yet, why is it so short? This lulls me to a sense of comfort and then the silent end makes me feel like I never want to wake up.

I’m 32 years old However the sound of the cello (especially dark & somber cello) has always moved my soul in ways I can not explain. It enters my ears and fills my heart wrapping itself around my soul and beckons me to remember a tragic past life, I’m not quite sure I had. 🥰

You get chills, your gut aches, your heart aches, you tear up.
You want to see, hear or read it over and over again.
Reminds me of the soundtrack to the movie Journey’s End. I can’t stop listening to it and thinking about life in the trenches of the Great War...

I see this more as a bad ending where either the antagonist wins or the protagonist wins, but is revealed to be the villain.
