Man... it all depends on the money the owner wants to spend and the level of detailing you are paid for. I cannot imagine someone getting the seats out for a thorough interior cleaning when the car owner wants to pay 20€...
My Fiesta was destined for the scrapyard, but I saved her. I built a new engine, gearbox and rebuilt pretty much the entire car. The interior was dope heaven so I spent 3 days cleaning it. I drive it every day and its given me more happiness than any other car I've driven. These videos remind me of how grateful a car can be for saving it.
Sir, you seem to be the only one who does the absolute best job on a car, really like when you buy a van, clean it, then donate it to a shelter. Much respect to you Sir. Patrick Bilderback San Antonio Tx
Reminds me of the time that I had to get my car towed to the garage after my front wheel started wobbling 3 weeks after getting it serviced. At first thought it was going to be an expensive fix. Turns out the garage had it serviced at didnt tighten the wheel nuts. They were so loose, they were take off and put back on by hand! I was so pissed, I had made a 80 mile trip on the motorway with 3 kids in the car with me just the week prior to the wheel playing up. Could have caused a major accident. Never used that company ever again, they had good reviews, thought they were reputable.. obviously not.
So nice to see you back since finding your videos I’ve spent a small fortune on valeting kit for my small fleet. I’ve actually washed my truck 3 times this week. That’s more than I washed my previous truck in 3 years.
i've been detailing friends motorbikes applying the skills shown on your Video's , and the feeling of achievement when you see the look of amazement on their faces showing how there bikes should look is very rewarding.
Welcome back sir. Nicely done salvage of the little Spanish Ibiza. Shocking job on the ball joint replacement. Got a chuckle out of the low pressure demonstration. Reminded me of Army Basic Training. The Sgt. put the butt of an M-14 rifle against his chin and fired a round to prove the recoil wasn't all that bad. Good to see Moose doing so well.
I just carried on with the normal everyday stuff but added going for long walks around my town. It's amazing some of the things I never knew existed just by walking that you never see driving about. Now I'm back at work but I'll still take a walk about every now and then. Good to see you back. Be safe.
It's good to have you back sir!!! I'm a detailing fan, follows a lot detailing channel, nothin' compared to your style.. lovin' it so much.. greetings from Malaysia.
Barrymores party and a spray in the face! And you made us wait a month!!! You are a favourite subscription. Thanks for the video. Your biggest fans from the south Loved the video. X
LOL I could just see the sprinter take out the car in the background at the end. Honestly. I became a TH-cam watcher over the last three months, have to say I'm very happy to watch your work. Made me willing to start my own business doing Detail work here in the US. stay safe.
Glad yer back!!! I’ve been working right through but had to take holidays in May. My car got wash every single day of the leave, very glad I wasn’t furloughed like many of my colleagues and many across the UK! My late Dad, tended to treat all his vehicles like a works van, I can’t stand a dirty vehicle. So would try to keep his clean. But, I do get gratification from seeing a vehicle being transformed with a bit of cleaning!
Love ya channel , whilst been off work during lockdown I decided to clean my golf , bought a george and got to work , seats out and give it a good minting , used loads of tips learned from watching your channel and after 25 hrs over 7 days it's as good as new , happy now clean again :)
Absolute result!! A days graft has turned a would be scrapper into a decent little runabout. I've been working a min of 84 hrs /wk since this C19 sh*te landed so not had time for new hobbies. I have just purchased a new exhaust system for my 1990 Corolla GTi lookalike, and a set of drill brushes so I'm going to attack the car when I've some time off next month.
This is one of my favorites of your restorations. You gave this well worn car at least several more years of life and made it look the best it has in years. Well done! p.s. Moose really is a cute dog--got a better look at him in this video when he made his presence known!
Yaaaaas welcome back gary missed my OCD fix glad all safe and well gave my taxi a good clean out as I've not worked from march and found a score in back seat base🤩 hopefully get back out soon for a rest lol
I'm back to work full time now (not a job I could do from home), but I was off for 10 weeks and loved every day of it. I am very happy to be at home, bit of a hermit, spent tons of time on genealogy research, found a whole bunch of new TH-cam channels, read some books, got a lot of rest (very needed), and just felt really peaceful and happy every day. It's good to be back to work and busy with something else but I crave my weekends a lot now just so I can stay home all day!
Welcome back! As usual amazing video. Priceless face power wash. New skills 🤔🤔 total suspension rebuild on my driveway and saved £1500. Now just waiting for good weather for the beauty treatment🤣🤣.
Hurrah, your back. I loved the face wash with the power washer cold but refreshing lol. I am learning Spanish taken it up and been learning since 11th March, also been researching my family history dating back to 1821 so far and still going, love your videos mate keep them coming.
Man I've watched so many of your videos I feel like I have a friend in Blackpool now!! Great job on this one and thankfully you're still alive after seeing that horrid suspension.
A very watchable video. If a reputable garage had botched a repair like your example, they would be dragged over the coals and someone would be sacked.
This IS my favorite TH-cam channel. I’ve missed your videos, but COVID messed us everything. Now that your back, things are starting to feel normal again. Cheers from California. If you’re ever in the neighborhood, just let me know. We need to find a place that will pour us a proper pint.
Really glad the car didn't veer off the road with you in it!! During lock down I spent time taking care of a diabetic neighbour with a bad foot infection from a bone spur. I still take care of my nan who has advanced dementia. I did manage to injure my back. For nearly seven weeks I had to nurse an angry sciatica. Something I did for myself was exercise daily and put together a photo mosaic puzzle of Tigger. I dont want to go back to normal life. But I have student loans to pay off 💔
Pressure washing your face was the kinda content we needed to see today. It put me in a good mood. Well done and stay safe man. Love from South Africa 👌
Lovely Jubbly, I had one of these from new 55 plate, funny enough, my ibiza didn't like heavy rain at all, it use to splutter and cut out, the dealer never fixed it.
We've hatched 2 little chicks. They are 9 weeks old now and living in my other half garden. But for the first 5 weeks they lived in our flat. Apart from the smell they were brilliant and took up alot of our spare lockdown time.
I've been watching Netflix and trying to stay in touch with family and friends! I can't see any of them in person. It has been hard. Your videos make it a little bit easier. THANK YOU!!!
I'm retired. Wife still a couple years left till retirement. I've been trying to support her work. She's a nurse and takes care of elderly folks. The coronavirus has been so hard on the elderly in my area, she gets depressed. I try to cheer her up as much as possible. Go for car rides, get out the grill for a bit of cooking or watch a movie with some popcorn once in a while. Pretty much stay home and stay safe.
Tell you wife thanks .Scott she is a star and people-do appreciate her work . The elderly folk are great i guess in normal times it is also a very rewarding job . Love listening to the old folks stories and memories of times gone by .
Good to see you back, cheers. New hobby? Tracking down dangerous 'mechanics' and seeing how many old sweets and wotsits, from that Seat, they can eat. Stay safe.
Couldn't wait to finish work when I seen this pop up on my phone 😎 the hobby I've picked up during lockdown is worming my neighbours animals! Great video
Watching TH-cam videos to learn what my now retired (he's 88+) lawn mower repair guy was doing. Now the neighbors are coming to me for help. Still keeping an active mind. Narragansett Bay
Hope you're well and glad to see you're back! Beside work... I've been spending time, spending money on the car, stocking up on cleaning products for the car and spending way too much time on eBay! Haha.
Was this a detail or an advert for L’Oréal? Because you’re worth it big man hahaha!! From Dundee in Scotland keep the videos up, been watching for ages now. 🏴🏴
Inspired by you, I bought a Mazda 2 that was for the scrapper, freed all the brakes off, charged the battery, polished it to a shine and steamed and hoovered the inside. I sold it for £1200. Keeeerching.
I've built a raised deck in the back garden 25ft x 16 with surround only using TH-cam as a guide and came in at around £780 was quoted £2350 from a company before lock down, saved a fortune!
Big shout out from 🏴Mate hope you Amy and mouse are well ..better to re mot keep yourself right mate .answer to your question buying stuff from amazon and ebay i don't really need lol
Great video, you’re livening up what remains of the lockdown. Have you ever thought about doing a vid on cleaning a car aimed at those of us who just look to give their car a bit of TLC on the drive every fortnight? Sponges, wash leather and a few old cloths! No power cleaning tools other than the household vacuum, using the sort of standard car products you might find in the supermarket car aisle or in Halfords? Just an idea, I for one would be all ears!
Great to see you back ! And great to see Moose too - perfect timing from him when you were jet washing your face - cocking his leg at 4:33 - you nearly got an extra spray from him too 😀
I recently got into your videos...it is really satisfying to see how you can take a filthy car and make it pristine! I have noticed, you don't seem to wear any hearing protection or a respirator when cleaning the cars, especially vacuuming and using the tornador. I would recommend using those along with the gloves. You may not notice it now, but using these type of loud machines can cause irreversible hearing damage over time. Just a cheap pair of hearing protection safety earmuffs will go a long way. A respirator (or any sort of decent face covering...a respirator might be hard to get with everything going on) will help protect you from respiratory issues due to all the dust and mold you might be breathing in.
Another great video Gary an the music went well with the video, love the face jet washin(don't try this at home kids) only a Scots man would do, the guy/garage who carried out the work on that car needs reporting to trading standards as that could of resulted in a fatality if failed at speed! Glad you an the family staying safe, during lockdown I've been looking after my parents as both are classed as high risk. Looking forward to the next video already.👍👍
Happy to see you back and as always an awesome and excellent job! 😃👍 What you did with the pressure washer is exactly what I have proven to one of my customers but instead of doing it to my face I did it to my left hand. People don't understand that pressure washer must have a pressure knob to adjust it as needed per job. Your proof is awesome and extremely cool, never thought of that to my face. 🤔😉👍 Noticed you lost weight too.👍👍👍👏👏 Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Great vid, love the tunes, cracking jokes and of course moose ! What’s not to like. Love watching these vids they are just brilliant and love seeing the end result 👍❤️ happy days 👍👍👍
Fantasric job.. Love your videos man. Would you mind increasing your voice volume/ decreasing music volume when you edit these? It might just be me, but i have to turn up the volume to hear you when you talk and then turn it down because the music is blaring.
Tried watching some other guy detail, he didn’t even take the seats out! Gary is the gold standard
The detail geek is probably one of my favourites
@@animeforlife12 And he's Canadian... how can you go wrong?? LOL... although I DO enjoy hearing... "guys and gee-ruls" :)
Man... it all depends on the money the owner wants to spend and the level of detailing you are paid for. I cannot imagine someone getting the seats out for a thorough interior cleaning when the car owner wants to pay 20€...

That garage needs naming and shaming! Welcome back Gary and, as usual, Moose steals the show 🙂🚗
Definitely! Bloody dangerous!
I agree, next time they cut corners it could cost a life!
That bodge could have cost someone their life 😟
Reminds me of the time that I had to get my car towed to the garage after my front wheel started wobbling 3 weeks after getting it serviced. At first thought it was going to be an expensive fix. Dawn you should always check tightness of wheel nuts after 50 miles, garage should have told you that
So nice to see you back since finding your videos I’ve spent a small fortune on valeting kit for my small fleet. I’ve actually washed my truck 3 times this week. That’s more than I washed my previous truck in 3 years.

I’m picturing your neighbours looking out their windows to see you washing yer face and it’s gold - good to have you back Gaz!
If there is a heaven, you will go to it. You care. These days, hardly anyone does. Well done, great job. I love people who go the extra mile.
Omgosh you do everything i wished every detailer did
You’re by a mile the best car cleaner on TH-cam. No bull...no flannel....just get in there and get it done...👍😉
I kept thinking you said, “cats” then i realized, “kids”. I’m such a goof,
Haha, me too!!
lol me too!
I'm so glad my favorite UK channels are uploading again. I have missed watching you work. Your meticulousness is impeccable.

I clicked like for the Barrymore reference alone 😂

Brilliant as always Gary, all quiet in Ireland in the car cleaning front due to a hosepipe ban, maybe we could borrow Moose to water the plants :)
Nice job, even older cars still deserve a good cleaning. You do amazing job. 👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
To keep my self occupied I have mainly been learning how to use a sewing overlocker which I’m addicted to! Love your videos please keep them coming 😊

Good job on the seat Ibiza looks really nice that’s shocking on the lower ball joint cowboys!! Big shout out from the highlands 👍
i watch his videos mainly for removing seats and steaming!. Wonderfull cleaning
She looks fantastic!
"Woof woof woof woof!"

I wasn't okay with that, it's not dogs that's the problem, it's how it's dealt with, sorry to burst your bubble if your reading this Gary.
I think moose had some wheel alignment info he wanted to give out.
I’ve got back into cycling I love getting o. The road now wanting a new bike 😎😎😎
Top quality as always pal, keep up the great content!
Enjoy watching your car cleaning videos thanks for making them :)
No new hobbies been carrying on working during lockdown. 👍🏻
Throughly enjoyed the transformation. Aloha from Maui.
6:06 I find blasting bird poo off with a pressure washer most satisfying too! Great work on this one!
Rebuilt my vespa thats been in bits for well over 10 years lol but thoroughly enjoyed it tbh.. great video as per mate..
