My personal ideas for a buff:
-Make Fuzes ult more consistent, so that when it touches someone it will always do the standard damage.
-Make the fire on Fuzes ultimate slightly higher and slightly thicker to make it harder for basically all mobility legends to escape it.
-Make the fire do slightly more damage to further discourage people from simply jumping through the fire to escape it, forcing them to actually think about escaping and taking large amoubts of damage or holding their ground. Defenitely not enough to kill them, but right now it only does 75 damage(i think) if it was something like 90 just because of touching the flames it would heavily discourage and prevent people from crossing the flames, and increase its potential as a zoning ability. 90 damage might be to much so that’s Defenitely up for debate.
-Make him immune to his own grenades and abilities as part of his passive
-possibly increase the slow down effect on the tactical to further negate mobility advantages from other legends.
I dont think all pf these should be incorporated at once. These are merely some suggestions i have to make him stronger as a character. Feel free to make suggestions in the comments or yell me how some of these buffs can be better
They can maybe give him Movement via his Nades (I re-watched the vid and I swear I didn't know it was mentioned)
Since movement is the most important thing in Apex that wouldn't be a bad Idea
Also his ultimate as you said should actually *trap* your enemies

Smooth Criminal hence why he should be invincible to his nades so people actually use it.(who wants to rush in a fight with a nade jump that will destroy their shields and doom them)
@@luketodd6290 that's obviously the only way he could do that it's kinda confusing why he even takes damage from his own Nades while Teammates could walk through A Thermite if it's one from their Teammates
I think an interesting Fuze change would be if you hip-fire the Motherlode, it shoots straight forward and instead of a ring of fire would make like a blanket of fire (potentially cutting off rooms/ sections of rooms). You could keep the huge arcing shot that creates a ring of fire, but make it so you need to ADS/ Zoom in w/ it before you fire.
Also maybe give him immunity/ resistance to fire from other Fuze's ults, like Caustic being immune to enemy gas.

I still think they should change his passive so he only long throws grenades when you hold the ADS button with grenades out or he normal throws if you hold ADS. Having the option would be nice as there are some circumstances where a normal throw is better.

Fuse has the potential to have a really strong kit. I'm a fuse main, and when fuse works he works really well, but when he doesn't you might as well just play wattson for the better animation set. I think the two biggest things I would want is for the knuckle clusters to slow people down who are hit by them, so you can cover your rotations better (you can already sort of do this, but if people know just to push through them it doesn't work), and I want the damage tracking that fuse gets from his ult to be seen by everyone, so all people on his team get the info from his ult too. Obviously the ult should be made a tiny bit more consistent, but I think the people who say that it's impossible to hit don't realize you can ads with right click for 3x zoom and make it much easier to hit. I really think as he is right now, he's better than someone like rampart, people just use his gadget completely wrong and when you do that with fuse you actively hurt yourself.

Same i main fuse, and i think the ultimate should be a piñata of nades, where there are like 5 frag grenades in the circle. His tactical is good for cleaning up a kill when you miss those couple last shots.

I think his passive and tactical are pretty solid, but they probably need a couple tweaks to them. I think the main problem is his ult tho. It's just too easy to get out of.
I find I get people with the motherlode more easily than with bang's ult or gibb's ult
absolutely love the soundtrack at 6:17. it somehow adds to the chaos in a beautiful way.
Buff concept: the flames for his ultimate ability are a little higher, the fire forms an x within the circle (saw that on reddit) his knuckle cluster can be thrown when healing/reloading/ any other animation that prevents him from using it. (Like how Bangalore can throw the smoke while reloading/healing.) This final one may be too much, but the knuckle cluster should do an extra tick of 5 damage (make it more intimidating)

@Jaden Babalai or you can make a nice fire house for your enemies in the open and chuck some explosives there. They either take damage, or they take damage. Unless one of them happens to use a movement ability
Removing the slow effect from his ult for teammates, would be a good buff for fuse. Possibly fuse doing a little more damage with grenades/his ult, would also be acceptable. His tactical should probably slow people just as much as Valkyrie too. I think he needs a lot of attention sadly.

I really like Fuse, he's my main legend (only started playing him in season 9 and started the game in season 8) and the idea with a rocketjump seems really cool, just like junkrats mine jump in Overwatch.

I’ve been playing fuse for about a month, 4K badge and 1k kills so I’m used to his abilities now. And I think he’s underrated but that’s a good thing for me Cus means he’ll get a buff lol

I think a good buff they could add to fuse is that if he could shoot while chucking knuckle clusters similar to like when u can heal and smoke with bangalore
My favorite part about fuse is the sounds his firing of his knuckle cluster and the explosions of them

I would make the knuckle clusters detonate slower, it'll allow for longer zoning and defense in a pinch. I would also change his ult to be a thicc line like a giant thermite instead of a ring, because realistically, the ring never traps anyone anyways.
I've thought about it so much and i feel that fuse should have a secondary to his ult, like he can choose to shoot it super for away with the first one and its basically like the original one, but the second one shoots in a closer range like 50m and instead of a circle it makes a pit, like when he was first teased. Also take one cluster away to make it fair.
Duration buff to knuckle clusters or scattered fire in the circle or both
One thing that could majorly change the way Fuze plays/hits. Is make is ultimate more quiet. I've noticed whenever you pop it everyone just scatters. Make it a bit more subtle and people won't know what hit them.
my thoughts on how to buff fuse. 1st.. his q will not interrupt his shooting ( like revenant or mirage ) his ult.. if it hits someone as soon as it touches the ground it will not do 10 dmg .. it will do atleast 35 - 50 dmg but wont take dmg over time. unless he walks into it ( like the normal )
His Ult should be a bunch of mini-bombs like when we had the teaser. Same circumference as the current, but 5 mini circles within it
I think in order to implement boom’s idea is to make it so that fuse doesn’t take damage in q and I can’t see that coming because of the current slow affect. It would be a double buff
Be able to ping that you are looking for grenades and if fuse could carry more ammo, to allow him to carry his grenades. Thoughts?

I agree with the ult change. Having the fire just cover a small area and do like 50-75 damage over time would be nice. Similar to crypto ult.
I think something that would be cool would be to change his ult around , it’s big clunky and obvious and with those flaws it doesn’t do a lot. I think it should shot it out in a cone forward,
Imagine a 45 or so degree triangle poking out from fuse, it shoot out fire and lands within that area, almost resembling a section of a web with bigger space towards the far side.
I think something else that would be cool is to make his cluster do different things, keep the cluster, add like a 3 foot circle of fire cluster, a cluster that can pull in enemy a little; etc.
But that’s be hard to balance
I feel like fuses tactical should speed out random sturps of fire, would keep with his pyroexplosive theme while making it so his tactical could actually hold people out of a spot a little longer

I feel like fuses ult would be more useful if it was like a long wall of fire instead of a ring. That way you could manipulate rotations and deny a entryway.
So you guys remember when they were teasing Fuse and when you were running around there were a ton of mortars on the ground that exploded if you shot them? I think his ultimate ring of fire should essentially turn an area (comparable to the current ultimate) into a minefield essentially. Countered by the other team getting out of the area of affect fast but capitalized by the fuse and his squad by shooting the mines/mortars to blow them up and damage the enemy squad.

as a fuse main, id absolutely love a buff, i always come 2nd because other legends abilities, it wouldnt make much sense but id love too see him get fortified or something, so hes not too strong, but actually viable

Ganase resistance would be kinda cool for fuse, not immunity but maybe start with like 50% less damage and reduce that as needed for nerfs

fuze i think like tf2 demoman both of them has strongly area defence but there is a weapon for demoman called sticky jumper with do no damage and also like the vid says in 9:35 can travle quicker which fuze is missing is he have a strong area defence when like fight in a room or something but when he is in big area he can hardly making damage and also he go slow speed compare to other character like octane or horizon which make his ability not too useful.
I finally unlocked Fuse, I've won several matches with him, I would have won more if it weren't for the fact that his indicator for his alt is inaccurate. It shows it will land somewhere but it either lands right next to you because of ricochet or it lands in a few mt before the marker. That would be a nice buff for him, accurately depicting where his alt will land accounting for ricochet.

fuse is so good at securing kills and getting that final damage to down the enemy.
i think fuses ult should be able to shoot forward and up there should be a key for it like there is with single fire and auto you should be able to click that and have an option to shoot high like it is right now or shoot farther and straighter it would make it to where if you’re inside you can shoot his ult without it hitting the ceiling you would be able to shoot it kinda like his cluster but the fire ring would be smaller and filled with fire and if you shot it with the high option it would be a big circle surrounding the opponent
His passive could use a special buff so it can stack up to 2 grenades of same type to launch at once. Making deadly barrages would be much more fun and tactical.
And yeah, basicaly what everyone else said about ult: Higher, Thicker, with inner ring and better consistency accross terrain.

Fuse Suggestion: His fire circle splits in two, one contracts by 50% and one grows by 50% on ground terrain only, like a wild fire. Its also can be fired at a lower trajectory based on how close he aims just like a grenade.

I got an idea. Perimeter fire. The further he throws his ult the larger the area of the Ring of Fire it becomes. Of course his fire should be mortar like to have some kind of area of effect on this ability.
Best and only buff i can think to make fuse useful, is to make his Ultimate close in overtime like the ring
Fuse is my favorite all time. I think the biggest change they could make is allow your squad to see the damage from the ultimate. As it stands, your team won’t know unless you say something that your ultimate has hit and is affecting them and allows for the push to finish the enemy off.

The only time I ever stick someone is with Fuse. And I once wiped a squad who were all at critical health using just the motherlode. I think he can be boss. My only sore spot is I think the knuckle clusters have too much of a delay from when you press the button or key to when they actually fire. And I think instead of two of them, it should be one but do more damage and increase the spread. Make it a real nuisance and hazard to get caught up in it. I actually think the motherlode is great. I love how directly aimable it is. For example, I like that it isn't a thrown object like bang's and gibb's ult's. And even though it rains down, you aim it directly and know exactly where it will ring around. I love that. Maybe tweak the damage up a little, maybe not. I usually get pretty good results with it. And yeah, the passive is fantastic. I'm not a great player and it gets me arc sticks. I almost NEVER get sticks with other legends. And I get them rather easily with him.
What about his passive is he just has a slot for 2 of every grenade with out taking back pack space? May only four slots

frag should explode on impact when they hit a player, thermites should burn a bit longer and arc stars should slow on stick

I think one way I’d buff Fuse is by making his tactical deploy faster. Trying to use it mid combat is super impractical because of how long it takes to load, aim, and fire the knuckle cluster. So taking off the loading animation so right when you pull out your knuckle cluster it’s already primed and ready to fire could make it a touch more viable.
yeah make the super a tad more useful at least indoors and yeah zip line use of the flame cannon would make him an pathfinder have some interesting combos, airstrikes launchable off them but not me old mate fuse's ring. Still nothing like making that much noise on fuse you cant hear the people sneak up any more. or at least be able to stick 2 grenades in that big shiny golden arm for quicker fire rate rather then the animation playing again for the 2nd nade even if have to only be the same type nade.

One buff could be that he dosnt take damage from his own abilities and the ultimate has X in the midle so could actualy hit someone with it
A good idea to buff Fuse would be to allow him to use his gun and his tactical/grenades at the same time(like Revenant). When ever I get into a fight and use the tactical after braking my opponent’s shield I would always get gunned down as I waited for the animation to end.
I would like to see fuse’s ultimate buffed or maybe make it a target ring over just a circle from ⭕️ to 🎯

I have fun with fuse, his tactical is good to finish off enemies or push them out of cover, but the ultimate is kinda lame since u take damave from it, its problematic to use indoors
Reduce his ability damage but make it a stun/slow. So he's not killing people with his kit but making easy targets to shoot. He still gets to double stack grenades to deal with the indoor campers
Fuze ult should be an RPG and his passive should be that explosives do bonus damage with him, the RPG on impact will do as much as an ark star when it sticks to some one and has a burning effect of a thermite grenade.

Since Fuse has 3 knuckleclusters on his belt, it makes sense for him to have 3 in-game at same time making him immune to his own explosions. Specifically, I would like for him to be immune to his fire from the Motherlode. Also at the same time, he could carry grenades as a three-stack instead of two turning grenades into ammunition in a pinch. He is the master of BOOM, so just give him more BOOM!

I think Fuze was fine with just one knuckle cluster. I just think they needed to make it more like a concussion grenade. And his ultimate should be more of a grenade with a FUZE that explodes and fully affects a medium sized area which admittedly is just a Caustic ultimate but it's effective right?

the knuckle cluster and the greanades must come out way faster - without that long fist animation - see how kandyrew dies at 10:10 - that happens a lot, so the knuckle cluster are basically useless cause of that long animation in close range fights.
Hmm off the top of my head ideas to buff Fuze its a complicated situation with his buffs
- Knuckle Clusters do more damage to the stuck targef (small percentage increase) if they're stuck to enemies. Possibly have a small damage buff to make them much more of a tool to flush enemies out of cover.
- Motherlode should either be a circle of flame or, slowly creeps towards the centre making the fire ring gradually smaller.
-Alternatively make it an expanding ring from the center.
-Can run at full speed with grenades out like holstered weapons.
-Obvious one is less damage against Grenades
-Makes Frags sticky nades??? Okay that one is very insane.
