For decades, I never understood why people like pasta with tomato sauce. Then I realized a few years ago only that I was doing everything wrong. Overcooking the pasta, using plain sauce (doing nothing to it like adding garlic, basil etc). Now I found out I like extra al dente pasta. Sometimes I remove the pasta RIGHT before it is al dente (the pasta cooks a bit more after you drain it.) Then I put piping hot pasta sauce (w/mushrooms, garlic, herbs and cheese) on it. It has extra bite (but not undercooked) and is delicious!
Adding other ingredients to your sauce is s must . I could never eat sauce right out the jar. I make my sauce the traditional way and sometimes make it “Puerto Rican” style which you add sofrito, Sazon , Spanish olives, garlic etc.
@@ooglibooboo5213 Like the ones in the can like Chef Boyardee? 😂 I like the canned stuff I ain’t going to lie but I wished the pasta 🍝 had a bit more bite. When you eat canned raviolis it’s just one glob. However the meatballs in the canned spaghetti & meatballs gives a little more texture.
