Health is a state subject, so rules for Regis can be different states, right now CEA has been adopted by 11 states and all UT except Delhi and karnataka is not on of them. If you want to register your clinic in karnataka, it can be registered under karnataka private medical establishment act, check the following link for further information kpme.karnataka.gov.in/Catg_Fees.aspx Or check with your CMO Maharashtra, Karnataka & Delhi are in the process of repealing existing legislation & enacting it on the lines of CEA with modifications.

Sir, how much time does it take in getting the provisional clinical registration? I am registered with Delhi medical council, moved to UP a few month ago. I applied for UP medical council registration but Due to covid, the UP medical council has halted the process of registrations. So the process is stuck now. Can I apply for clinic license with my DMC registration? Or should I get my friend who is a native of UP with a UP medical council to partner with me in the clinic? How much time does it take to get the provisional clinic establishment registration?
If we look at the definition of the clinical establishment according to the act it is "a hospital, maternity home, nursing home, dispensary, clinic, sanatorium or an institution by whatever name called that offers services, facilities requiring diagnosis, treatment or care for illness, injury, deformity, abnormality or pregnancy in any recognized system of medicine established and administered or maintained by any person or body of persons, whether incorporated or not or (ii) a place established as an independent entity or part of an establishment referred to in sub-clause (i), in connection with the diagnosis or treatment of diseases where pathological, bacteriological, genetic, radiological, chemical, biological investigations or other diagnostic or investigative services with the aid of laboratory or other medical equipment, are usually carried on, established and administered or maintained by any person or body of persons, whether incorporated or not, and shall include a clinical establishment owned, controlled or managed by a) Government or a department of the Government; b) a trust, whether public or private; c) a corporation (including a society) registered under a Central, Provincial or State Act, whether or not owned by the Government; d) a local authority; and e) a single doctor"
Well, Acupressure treatment practice comes under naturopathy. It is one of the registered system of practice in India. You will require to register your Clinic in the clinical establishment Act if you practice naturopathy. As far as Karnataka is concern, they have there own law...but Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Delhi are in the are in process of repealing existing legislation and enacting one on the lines of CEA with modifications.
