I love this series of comparing how far figures have come. It's so cool to see the evolution of the toy industry! Also, Rambo and Stallone are awesome!
Dope video 🔥🔥🔥 The Rambo movies are some of my favorite action films of all times especially First Blood! I’m an 80’s baby & I loved the cartoon & had the Coleco toys as a kid. The figures NECA released were detailed and cool as well but HIYA really outdid themselves with these I picked the First blood figure up & after opening it & watching a few other reviews I immediately pre ordered the rest of their Rambo offerings. Hiya toys are making quality 1/12 figures and I’m excited for what they come up with next!
Thanks Pure-Solo8167! As you know, I totally agree. The Rambo movies are iconic and the first two are absolute masterpieces in my mind. I never had the NECA Rambo figures but I have seen them in person and think the Hiya Toys figures are on another level. I also ordered the Rambo First Blood Part 3 figure after seeing D Amazing's review. These are just too good to pass up. Thanks for watching and leaving me this awesome comment 🙏
Dope video Vincent this figure is 🔥🔥🔥 . I might have to grab it. Thank you for the detailed review. You have made my decision a tough one lol . Keep up the good work bro as always your videos are super high quality and super informative .✌🏽👍🏽
Hey thanks Woody! I really had fun with this figure and am blown away by how cool it is. I think if you get it you will be thrilled with it. Thanks for the kind words about the video, I'm having a lot of fun trying to improve them as I go.
very creative video bro ha! I m not sure if you re sarcastic or not, those figs were crap... the arms should have moved, and bigger than joes was a mistake he can hardly hold his weapons for a pic while Duke could dance the lambada... every joe guy wanted Rambo in his team, but nooo ; if you can t beat them... join them! Rambo died... ; I have dispatched my best legions, they are more than a match for your pitiful little band... ha, having the one next to the other is funny as heck! wow, he s amazing! Rambo 3 and Arnie s T - 2 are 2 must haves, have been done very well, even to the actors s likeness to a T... 2 well, one difference is also the price, about $8 Can here while the new one would cost me about what? $200 Can? ah, the equipment is bliss! and then I m thinking ; man, this guy was so excited by Rambo that a dio never occurred to him... surely you have 1 or 2 left in this place no? I keep telling fig reviewers ; get a dio! it ll look waaay better for reviews! I see you as a dio guy, and there s no dio on the review.... I know, it s Rambo s fault! he drew first saliva, when you saw how good he was... made! mm, good points, I ve seen reviews of this by other guys, and you re 1 rst to mention those, good job! ahhh, the addition of trees is so much better! cool! ok, so you mention price, thanks! ok, 80 US, and you pay legends 25 while I pay 35, mm, maybe $160 Can ship - tax in? ouch!!! but NOW Rambo can join my joe team! ha, ha! and punisher, why not? cleaning up town! same here Trutman would be a nice completion for Rambo Rocky... he has less potential, wrestlers fans perhaps? I think that there should be a cheaper 'no cloth' version, only plastic to fit the other lines better. it s the only thing that d make him clash with my other figs, only capes are cloth. the finale not bad, but we d all want to see him next to other figs for fun and comparison joes, some legends, Indy, 5 - 10 figs in a dio, you could nt wait to do it for yourself only hein? ha, ha, Rambo has too much control over you bro! ha, ha or was it supper time, and you had to go.... it feels like you rushed the end of the video, or did nt think about fireworks at the end... a missed occasion man, to blow us away with your video magic show. so now you know... and now I know you re back at dios, wonderful news! hey, the most important dio for joes or cobra are the comm room with many screens, you d hit big doing one, as it s as important as the star trek bridge to have as a fan. a great piece for any guy going for pic montages if you don t identify a faction and leave a logo space, it could be shield, aim, hydra... that d be my suggestion for the success of your channel - efforts bro good show man
@@vascotoys I could nt leave it knowing how better you d do if you added just these small but essential touches, the community needs more art, but it needs to have figs in it all the time to get fans in. just talking about figs is dull... but they shine in cool scenes like yours, carefully crafted, it s obvious you like and care, pro. I invest in you, and in art, it s a great thing for the hobby, it will pay, I m sure, thanks bro, and good luck in your mission.
The idea that the 1980s Coleco Rambo was "ahead of its time" as far as articulation is concerned is absolutely preposterous. All one has to do is look back a few years to the Mego Superheroes, action Jackson, and Micronauts of the 70s, the G.I. Joe of the 60s and 70s, Marx figures such as Johnny West and Mike Hazard, and Ideal Toys Captain Action from the 60s...Hell, there's even a Superman figure from 1940 made of wood that had far superior articulation. Even the 1980s 1/18 scale G.I. Joe ARAH figures had better articulation. As a matter of fact, Mattel's Barbie of the 70s onward was more poseable.
You're entitled to your opinion. I grew up in the 90s and a lot of the figures I played with had less articulation than this Rambo. So I guess it's all based on your frame of reference. Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a detailed comment.
@@vascotoys No, it's objective fact that the articulation on the figure was anything but ahead of its time, unless the only frame of reference you are using is Star Wars or MotU figures. Like I said, the 3-3/4" joes had more articulation if you want to stick to a strict 1980s timeline.

They drew first blood not me!!! Gotta love a good unboxing video especially when it’s a Rambo figure!!! Very cool stuff Vin!
Thank you J-Lam! NOTHING IS OVER! Glad you enjoyed the video as a fellow Stallone superfan.

Thanks TKMagicShop! I'm a huge Stallone fan, as you saw. So this was a really fun one to make.

Thanks man!
Nice video
Thanks! I should be ready to release a video showing a custom build for this Rambo later this week. I hope you'll check it out.
@@vascotoys I will I can’t wait for it
I’m on the fence on hiya robocop in 1/12. Or mafex. Robocop was my jam in the 80s
I can't speak to the Mafex movie stuff, but if this Hiya Rambo is any indication, I would bet on them.
