Had one in the mid ninetys.exactly the same.there should be a decompression lever on the right hand side of the motor with a cable running up the the left hand side of the handlebars from memory??She should have been able to start it if there was no cable.just push the lever forward.
Plenty of power out of the twin carb.RFVC Motor.radial four valve combustion.my mate had a klr of round about the same generation.he always beat me in top end speed but off the mark i would own him.
The only real issue i had was keeping the lid on the motor.it loved to blow head gaskets.mind u i had it pretty bored out towards the end of its life.so ended up helicoiling pulled head bolts.
Good to see one again.pretty rare bike even back then.There was a black version but in my mind the alpine white one was the one to have

Thankyou kindly. We had to put Vinyl our beautiful puppy dog down who was 16 in October 2018. Very sad day and im still coming to terms with her death but she lives on in these wonderful videos that the whole world enjoys. All the best
