My dad bought me a 1975 suzuki RM 125 in September 1975. I was 15 years old. A lot of great memories on that bike. Three of my friends had the Honda 125 Elsinore. We all rode and raced together. Wonderful times! I'm still riding today!

Nice kickstarting there dude. Stand high on the kickstart and give it everything you got when you kick down, like this guy here th-cam.com/video/fjlcCoDKAPo/w-d-xo.html. I had a 490 ,was a real pig to start and that was the only way to start it. 20 or so kicks like that guy.

I had that exact cross-bar pad on my '77!

I remember one of my mates had one . He loaded it up with camping stuff and his girl friend and on the way to the bike show the rear wheel collapsed the spoke just gave out.

Is this bike for sale 1977 RM 125

Its low rpms sounds like a four stroke but in high rpms it sounds like a two stroke so it’s a 3 stroke 😂

1981 is an X and I had a RM250X full floater. First year for the full floater and last year for the air cooled on the 250. The 125 had water cooling in '81. I had Mark Barnett's old pratice bike. Hardly any miles,tires still had the tiots and chain sprockets were like new. There is a story as to why it had no miles. I worked at the dealer and we gave him 10 new bikes each year for practice(Suzuki paid for them),then bought them back the next year for $200 each. It was a cool set up,I could buy his one year old bikes for cost plus 10%,$225!
