I know that body-shaming is horrible, and that dad shouldn't even be a parent, but that has nothing to do with making your kid exercise. It's healthy for her body (can't say the same for the "healthy" snacks he gives her though) and as along as she enjoys it and it's not by force (although he probably would force her if she didn't like it) then I personally think it's fine. However, if what you're saying it's true and he's only doing it so she'd win pageants, then I agree. It's almost as bad a body-shaming.

It's not really that important to me, but I think should say that if you take a look at your average body builder who uses steroids and then look at him you'll see that he doesn't look like them.

Colleen Kyle But in some cases there are legitimate health reasons as to why someone gets overweight. Thyroid issues is one of the top ones. Also hormone imbalances can play a role. For example, PCOS. It’s very easy to gain weight with PCOS, but really difficult to lose it because your hormones that control blood sugars and things like that are so out of wack. It’s very frustrating. He had zero business talking about them like that.

Where is the bodyshaming, if someone says that parents with overweight/an eatingdissorder are not a good idol for theire kids? Even studies say, that the chance that children from overweighted parents will overweight too, is very high. Chyna Renee I don’t know what you mean but I will say I get bent out of shape and should really stop watching these videos. I do think these parents are wrong. In my opinion, and it is only my opinion, they send out a false message to these children. Like the one little girl that got upset because she didn’t think her mom meant she was beautiful ALL the time. And the little girls who are allowed to act anyway they want and to show such disrespect to their parents and to every adult that comes close to them because they just have to get themselves “emotionally ready” to get on the stage. And the little girl who would rather play hockey than being in these pagents but is forced to do them. Or the best one, the mother who took pride in beating her little girl by winning a higher crown. And then telling her daughter I was just better than you. It is the moms that get so addicted to this. They are the ones that have to win because they lack something in their lives. Put these kids in something constructive. A musical instrument or dance. They can still learn poise and grace. They have recitals and concerts. Sorry, again just my opinion and I really need to stop watching these videos.

I got pregnant and im not fat. So what is their excuse? I teach my son heakthy eating habbits by choosing to eat healthy myself. He is ten and never been overweight or had a cavity and is in the peak of health thanks to us living healthy.

k L I know lots of women who have problems losing weight after having children. Just because your body let you lose weight doesn’t mean everyone’s body will. Everyone has a different body and everyone’s body deal with weight and such differently. Also my cousins eat healthy and still are slightly overweight. They exercise and everything and still are overweight. Eating healthy and such doesn’t mean you’ll be healthy and skinny, yes it will help. I don’t eat very healthy and I’m no where near overweight and I’m in perfect health.
My mother I law eats super healthy and is very active. However even since having kids her hormones went crazy and has had weight issues every since

After having her child, her body isn't the same, and she eats clean all the time, owns a boxing studio and exercises daily. She preaches to women who've had children to bounce forward, not bounce back, because your body will never be the same. This is the message all women planning on having children need to hear.
