We need a second chapter, more deeper, more various, more characters and mechanics, modes, online modes etc. let's hope
They should wait until the anime ends to make a second game (which is closer than we think),I hope they just keep adding the main characters as seasons release and then when the anime ends they make a second game with the entire story and more side characters like Kanae or Shinjuro

I will forever say this, the "comp" scene of a game is usually about 10% of the games community, if a game is only to hop on and fight after a while it will get stale 🤷🏾♂ that's why there is nobody playing it but tournaments are only thing flourishing, lol will rather watch than play
Hilla is definitely a player I think I want to start studying. They definitely know how to excel with non meta characters and it makes a me a bit inspired to keep being creative even though I tend to play low tiers.
Hecate was so impressive to watch, im a susa main and seeing her optimal combos is getting my blood pumping. Im good with her but theres still more that i can do with her.
This hacade player is very inspirational, I've been watching tournaments and seeing a top player like Hilliastur getting downloaded and parried makes me want to continue playing the game to get to the level of these players.
The main problem is that the current meta doesn't leave any room for playstyle outside of it. In other fighting games you have the meta but it's still a valid option to go for other things. But in Demon Slayer if you aren't playing Susa or Akaza and or at least a demon you'll lose unless you're playing absolutely out of your mind like Hillia does with slayers. Quite simply, demons and especially projectiles need a nerf, at least enough to allow slayers to compete
well that involves another issue, that when a slayer goes up against zoners, it promotes a very boring playstyle which is, get health lead, time stall. Unpopular opinion, just dont let zoner type character compete. cause the playstyle is waaay to repetitive.

Playing the game just wasnt fun as a Makomo main when I had to sweat my pits off for damage when the enemy could get even more damage by mashing triangle. It definitely made me shy away from the game. I think for storm it's different because there is enough characters to where you can tell the game isn't going to be properly balanced, and there are plenty of versions of many characters.

ive been trying to tell streamers to push for crossplay games im sure there are still plenty of people who play its just that the few that do are spit up in 5 platforms crossplay will save fighting games especially on pc where you can only play a fighting game for a month or two b4 its completely dead

Just bought the game yesterday on sale and decided to play normal multiplayer today and it’s toxic. First game got completly destroyed and he would just run from me after doing enough damage and let the time run out. And the second kid was some how no touching me couldn’t guard his moves went through mine ect and got messaged. Safe to say I’ll be avoiding multiplayer at this state in its life cycle. I don’t expect to be good at the game but to somehow run into 2 toxic players is just enough for me. And I’m a storm 4 player who is in the above average player who can hold his own

The point of odyssey wasn't made for u to constantly play it like demon slayer where it's a fighting game, it was more of a story game where u play it and ur done

The game died out in a few months. They went too long without any balance patches and all u saw in rank was akaza susamaru or enmu
There was also a severe lack of content because all u had to do was story mode, pvp, online pvp

This is crazy to say but the switch version has a pretty active playerbase still. So far I've found several matches in 10secs or less

its pretty bad on pc, the main issue is the online netcode is so terrible you lag everywhere and so much input delay
