A farmer here in southern Cook County Matteson Illinois to be exact must of left a lot of beans in the ground cuz I see over 100 geese or more feasting on the field
Mudjacking may be an option for your bin pad. My dad had a few customers over here in SE Iowa who tried it. I don't remember who they were to be able to see how they held up though.
I was going to say Andy, you can probably get someone to pump under it and it will level it back out. But my gut tells me you’ll have to repour that part, you shouldn’t have to jack it up just pull the sheets off on that side to get in there.
It depends on how much we want to repour. If it is just that side, the floor sections would be enough. If we want to fuse the new slab with the old slab all of the way across, the bin would probably need to be lifted.
I'm guessing that you are right. I doubt they built bins 50 years ago in the same fashion that they are built now. Our newer bins have incredible foundations. It also cost a small fortune!
If memory serves in your area you have companies that inject concrete into the soil under the collapsed concrete to stop any further collapses. Just a thought.

We use rotor in 3rd gear at 1200-1300 rpm in Hard Spring Wheat in Canada.
Wow that is absolutely moving that rotor!
As I used to say. " if no one got hurt, and nothing got broken, every thing else was a bonus".
Perfect way to put it!
Great video. Grain tank extension looks great akso@!
Thanks 👍

You're never going to get them all. Some fields are worse than others, especially if the soybeans are dry when you harvest them.
Great video good to see y'all
I'm probably wrong but I THINK the living part of a tree is the first couple inches under the bark. BUT I'm no Arborist :)
Great harvest coverage Andy, thanks
Hasn’t come out of the closet yet he is a true case IH person! But there’s hope for him
👍👍
How soon till your dad spills beans on the cab?? 😂😂
Afternoon from Dundalk, Ireland
Another great video, you are easily my favorite farmer to follow.
Thanks 👍
The center of a tree is the past.
The outside is today.
They dock for over 13 here at our local elevator on beans. What do they do in your area? Ours have been 9-11 moisture but have some green stems yet.
10-16% depending on the area. The dock from 13-14 is worth cutting early, but it gets nasty once you get to 15%.
Good morning

lol 8% money is basically free. Yep. Sure. See if you can get the same contractor as Cole the cornstar. They did great job.
That was sarcasm...
Trippy, I would think 50 years for the bin foundation is a long time. What should they last? Great vid, keep them coming.👍
I think everything should last forever....
The footers were probably not deep enough to start out, after years of freezing and thawing they break and you know the result.

it is water that is the culprit on the floors in the bins
Andy, what role does the Reel serve on a bean head?
It gets the crop moving over the knife and onto the draper as it's cut. Otherwise, it would tend to bunch up.
Why not use spray foam and lift the bad concrete? There’s videos of a lot of people doing that! Look into it!
That's worth exploring!

It's worth looking into. I'd want a company that has done grain bins before.
Andy your just like all of us males..."mistaking but never wrong"😂
high iron content in sand, foundry sand
Is your X9 a 1000 or 1100?
1000
Mistaken🤦
Why does Dad have all green equipment but wears a red shirt everyday? Must like Christmas;)
Red is just his color.... I couldn't tell you!
The weatherman can be wrong 50% of the time and still get paid, you can be wrong once in a while!
I don't watch you all the time, because I don't like you trying to be a comedy genius all the time, I mean all the time, and I'm sick of it !!!!
I'm just trying to have some fun...
