Fred MacMurray played clarinet and tenor sax in Arnheim's orchestra in 1930-31. He ending up having a stellar career, one of the top paid actors during his time in Hollywood.

Oh, what a wonderful video! Off the top of my head, I spotted Jean Harlow, Clark Gable, Claudette Colbert, Thelma Todd, Ginger Rogers (I thought I saw her briefly), and William Powell. I also thought I spotted Mary Astor, but I'm not entirely sure. I enjoyed watching Thelma Todd being dragged onto to the dance floor at 4:50. She was good at that comedic stuff!

@MissCodswallop Oh, and I didn't spot Kay Francis the first time. I think she was one of the most elegant actresses I've ever seen. I've only seen her in two films so far (The Cocoanuts and Trouble in Paradise). It was great seeing her with The Marx Brothers. They're my favorite!

I read your comment about the great actress Kay Francis, and agree! Also hope you can see her in the two favorite films of mine, "One Way Passage" and "Girls About Town". From 1931 and 1932. You will never forget them. One Way Passage was her personal favorite. The most amazing love story ever!
