As an educator I completely understand the need to unplug and this last year I’ve taken up crochet and it has been the best hobby. I encourage you to look into it.
This year's goals are looking pretty good. But there are a couple that I'm not sure will make it due to finances. I will move them to next year I i need to.
Maybe a Nature Journal...you can make observations from indoors or by getting outside on hikes or walking paths. Amd you probable already have all the stuff to get started! It can be two-for: exercise and creativity.
What about a musical instrument? A friend picked up the guitar at 58… he’s 60 now and loves it. Just a simple , decent acoustic guitar and some online lessons. He then added in person lessons after about a year.
It really is. I've been a teacher and adult for nearly 20 years, and I haven't figured out how to get through August without my life falling apart like a Nature's Valley granola bar.
I gave up in February but have restarted this month. It’s never too late in the year to get back on track!
@@ScrappingHarden never!! 🫶🏼
great that your family will be close by soon. great goals for the month 💙
Truth be told, I feel like I'm too tired for goals. Happy to hear your family will be coming closer!
Eeekkkk excited for launch!
Also I think it's awesome that the whole fam will be nearby. What wonderful news!
My goals for August were non-existent as well. I set some goals for September and hoping they go much better!

This year’s goals…
Going to start writing them any day now.
Only kinda kidding.

Watching you plan makes me want to use a goal planner again! I’m sorry if you mentioned it, but are you using 2 Makselife weekly planners?
@@raealdridge8200 just one! I moved everything to one book this year, and it’s been great!
It is strange. Something’s wrong with August. Also was in serious slump- didn’t touch any of my goals! Nutty lol!
