How are you going to sue because they used shortcuts before you even had any rights?
I’ll start by saying I really like this movie. A few times it sounded like there was some AI dialogue going on, particularly when you don’t see a characters face, there were somethings being said that maybe they thought of in post or they didn’t get on the mic properly when they shot the scene… definitely prefer real voices… Were they trying to get away with not paying an extra to spreak?
So can Stallone get the right back to Rocky because of this type of lawsuit?

All this drama just to release a movie makes a massive argument for AI. I mean damn! So many personal interests getting in the way of this movie, Hollywood is digging it's own grave with all this immature crap while AI, the real enemy, looms in the background - We have to compete with that and we don't make enough Dune 2 level movies to have a chance right now. They literally called it Sora - which is short for _"sorry artists"_

I don’t care. I’m on the writer’s side. They have historically been mistreated in Hollywood when they are the ones who create the films that we enjoyed and loved over the years. Let the man get his money. I’m behind him 100 percent.
On what basis? He was hired and paid to write a script. If you hire a contractor to build a deck in your backyard, should they be allowed to claim ownership over it in a couple of years?
So because You Think something and takes a side, rules, laws and regulations should be put aside? Thats just downright dumb. Nomatter What You Think about something, You have to abide by rules and law.
@@johncampeaIf said contractor engineered a specific plan or system to get it done, he should keep the design. My backyard (modified by his idea) stays intact. His creation (idea) stays with him to do whatever he wants with it. Including modifying other backyards.
Also, I would hold judgement on the man until the full details are released. We don’t know entirely how he or his legal team plan on connecting the dots.
@@SyldarinOk, I’ll think about something, here it is: We need to change our laws and rules so ACTUAL CREATORS get the acknowledgment of what they create. No more “buying other people’s ideas”. Rent them out. That’s it. Scripts should be licensed out. Just like characters are licensed out.
Mate, if it wasn’t AI it would’ve been really expensive, piss poor ADR or someone else doing a bad impression.
We need to stop with this aversion to our own creations. AI is here to solve problems. If it means you can’t strike as effectively then perhaps your market value truly is in need of adjusting.
Let’s free up capital and time and move on to other problems we continue to neglect.
