you need at least 6 in each module that's the requirement of SDS student visa category

It's hard for Indian lawyer to get a work as a lawyer after clearing NCA and Ontario bar exams as we don't have any Canadian experience. That's why i am thinking to 1st enroll in paralegal course and work as a paralegal and make some network and then give bar exams and work as a lawyer. Would this work for me ? Is my way of thinking correct ? Please guide me sir, it will help me a lot to take my decision.

Thanks for the info. I have recently recieved my Canadian PR and will be migrating in shortly from India. Paralegal interests me and would probably be my career choice out there. I already have a Post Graduate Degree in Maxillofacial Radiology ,but as my wife is also a Dr, continuing to strive for a licence to practice simultaneously is out of the question (for now ) and I plan to change my field of work. That being said, my primary concern would be, is there any truth that Paralegal is a female dominated field and would men have any difficulty in getting employed after getting a Paralegal diploma there ? The statistics seem ot show a lot more women employed as Paralegals. Thankyou in advance for your feedback on the same.

I got 58/100 marks in Legal studies in my 12th class. Is it a relevant program according to my studies? I'm already introduced to all the subjects which are studies in paralegal course.

What is the approx salary of a paralegal?
After being a lawyer in India, can I apply for certification as a paralegal without pursuing paralegal course in Canada?
To get a certificate, you must have to study there. You can work as legal assistant after clearing NCA but only if you have network there. Bcoz it's preety much obvious that the employer will take the person with Canadian experience. So, it's better and safe to take the paralegal course and do lawyers licensing process side by side.

Judging someone's accent is considered extremely offensive in Canada. People can speak however they like, pls stop accent shaming others. He sounds just fine to me.

Depends your career goals. If you want to become a licensed paralegal, take the diploma. It is shorter. If you want to go to law school later, take the degree.

I would like to study paralegal in Canada.. actually, I'm from humanities background with elective Punjabi, history and physical education (88 percent)+cleared an IELTS exam with an overall band score of 7 .. what are the chances to get enrolled myself in this course...must reply, I'm puzzled.
