Thanks for this video. But it's very frustrating that you don't really say if it's more comfortable than any of the other straps you've tried. As you've tried many, you're in the unique position to give your commentary. What are it's pros and cons? Can it be used without the face gasket? Will it replace other straps for you?
I guess this is technically a unboxing and first impressions, that’s where this comment section comes in handy if you have questions, please ask away. I want to do a comparison of all of the straps I have used in a separate video because I think that will give you all the pros and cons in one place. I hope this makes sense. As for your question about using the Belkin without a light seal, Unfortunately not securely, it’s won’t hold up comfortably to allow this. If you want a minimal design for both options, Annapro A1 and A2 are the best choice.
@@AVisionexperimentI think the fact that the light seal is necessary is telling of the support it gives. I’ll be most interested to see if you think it will offer the same support as the A2 after a few days of use.
@ I don’t think I will ever use this without the light seal, Annapro will be staying with me for that very reason. But it’s nice to have something else that’s more slimline. I do think I may wonder back to Annapro more regularly but I have been suffering from a few tension headaches (not from AVP or Annapro but with a desire to wear AVP, wearing Annapro hasn’t been the best.
Thanks for the video! I'm wondering if it would help if I use it mostly lying down, because the straps are meant to distribute the load when sitting upright. I was wondering how this strap feels when you are all lying down.
@@Taek.Of.Choi_63 good question, I would say it wouldn’t be as useful for that than say Annapro which holds weight on the forehead region of your head.
OMG you spent the entire video discussing price and literally didn’t review the product. I have no idea if it relieves pressure at all. I’m so annoyed that I’m going to start reviewing Apple Vision Pro accessories/updates on my new sister channel MeniHDR. I’ll first do a real review of this Belkin strap, followed by the Annapro V2. I’ll also promise to have actual production value in my review. See you there!
@@menithings I think you must have watched a different video my friend because I spent most of the time comparing the different between it’s closest options in the Dual Loop and Spigen strap, making mention of why I think the Belkin one is better, for comfort because of adjustability and weight of the strap as well as the material it’s made from having some elastic qualities. What more do you want… me to go over per square inch of weight alleviation and the minor details. It’s an unboxing and first impressions of the product, Not a in-depth review of it.
From this comment I assume you have a Vision Pro. Good, so given this you'll know that to really know if a head strap is working you have to wear it for some time, good. So then, how do you expect Tay to review this strap and compare it when he literally just got it from the Apple Store? I know, either you don't have a Vision Pro and you're just trolling to cause an argument, trolling to create interest in your own channel where you'll just say the first things that come into your head or maybe you don't know what your talking about. Either way, your comment is nasty and unwanted.
Just preordered and delivered: Nov 22 - Dec 3 in the U.S. How did you get it so soon? 😂I also use Annapro (v1), but it is not adjustable and just feels a little bit off.
@@ZE3kr I found out stock was going into stores and would release on shelves today. Because it showed in stock at my local Apple Store, I went and grabbed it. This is a good strap but it’s not going to be the one to solve all problems, you won’t likely won’t want to wear your AVP with no light seal as it will feel like it falls forward towards your nose and is balancing on top of your head. But for weight it’s nice and light and like you said it will be adjustable unlike others such as Annapro.
@@AVisionexperiment I just noticed my local Apple Store also has it. For some reason, the preselect default store is not my local store. Just cancelled shipping and will pick it up later today!
@@Ryan4itunes I guess it’s down to what you want, you get a more cushioned and rigid amount of support with Annapro A2 but you don’t have lots of adjustability other than different paddling and it will allow for no light seal wearing. Personally it’s down to cost for me, I think Annapro is better value for money, the Belkin strap is lighter, more adjustable and you don’t have to removed it to put in the official Apple case. But for what it is, $49.95 is a little on the high side.
@@AVisionexperiment ok, I did pre order the A2, but since I have the Waterfield Design case (which is way more tiny than the Apple case) I probably would’ve been better off with the Belkin…… But I place comfort as the absolute top priority
@ I won’t be ditching my Annapro A2 anytime soon, it’s great and I will have both the Belkin and Annapro in my case all the time I think. They have enough different about them to swap around based on what I’m doing.
@@AVisionexperiment yup, that is understandable. I already have the dual solo loop setup (called "solotop" on Etsy) which also has its pro's and con's. I'm venturing away from that setup, only because it does not do a good job at maintaining the weight at the top of my head, and the solo band that sits on top of the head gets bunched up and uncomfortable.
