Alpina D3 BiTurbo and E46 318Ci updates + Air Temperature Sensor Replacement.

FINALLY...... The Alpina D3 BiTurbo breaks cover again. I finally got it out of hibernation and got a new intake air temperature sensor (£12 from eBay).
It has transformed the car!!
I also got an MOT for both the E46 318Ci and the Alpina, and both are being used daily.
Later this week the wheels are being refurbished on the Alpina and I will be recording the whole process.

I saw someone had commented about an issue with their E92, but I accidently deleted the comment, please could you comment again.
I think it was related to the MAF sensor. If you unplug it and the car doesn't feel any different then its unlikely to be an issue with the MAF.
In my case the Air Intake Temp sensor does come up with a fault on the diagnostics.

Enjoying the channel. How has the air intake temperature sensor been this past 6 months ? It's the cheapest around I've seen.

Unfortunately it was false economy. I need another and will be buying a known brand.
