I'm surprised to see Baybrook Mall still doing great unlike most other malls which have closed because of online shopping being so common nowadays, especially Amazon.
@@JGTravels have you ever been to the San Jacinto Mall that was over in Baytown, Texas before it closed & got torn down? My mom took me to that mall back in the day when it first opened & I was a little kid at the time. It was just like Baybrook back then. I've had many fun memories visiting it with my family in my child days. After the first few years of the 2000s, it began to slowly downsize & later on January 4, 2020, it closed & only left Macy's & JCPenney to stay open. Later JCPenney closed in the fall of 2021 & then Macy's closed too on February 2022. After the whole mall completely closed, it was left abandoned & deteriorating for a few months before it got demolished.
@@JGTravels it was the Baybrook of Baytown back in the 80s & 90s. Fun memories. There's a video on youtube I saw where it's all closed up & abandoned, & these dudes broke inside of it at night & went exploring in it. It was dark, spooky, & dirty as heck inside. Also grafetti spray painted on the walls inside too. It was before the building got demolished. Hard to believe a building that was once a nice, clean, & popular shopping destination turned into a deteriorated shit hole which later got torn down.
Too bad the leasing and management in this mall is terrible, they are bullies and lie to their tenants all the time. Always raising the rents and rude to its tenants. Maybe you should do a new video asking tenants about how they are treated and when they don't comply with the bull crap and bullying, they get kicked out and money taken from them. Trust me this mall is terrible to it's tenants, specially the small business's that aren't corporate owned.
I worked at both Sears and Montgomery Wards in this Mall in the 1990's. Glad to see it is still strong.

Yes that is correct! Online shopping is killing the shopping malls in America.

I've never been in Jacinto Mall. It seems that you have fond memories on the Jacinto mall, sorry to hear it closed and got demolished.

My grandma used to take me to this mall a lot when I was a kid. May she rest in peace.
