Here's a recipe for delicious smooth Hummus

  • A delicious and smooth classic hummus recipe. I could eat this on it's own, no need for crackers or bread! This is a basic recipe that can be used to add your own flavours to make different hummus. Although it's perfect just the way it is. Enjoy!
    Ingredients
    1 tin of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
    Juice of 1 lemon
    1/4 tsp paprika (optional) and more for garnish
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 large garlic cloves, crushed
    50ml aquafaba (chickpea juice)
    50ml oil
    2 tbsp tahini
    Some paprika, freshly chopped parsley and oil for garnish (optional)
    Instructions
    Place all the ingredients into a blender and been on high for 1-2 minutes, stopping and scrapping down half way.
    tip out into a serving dish and spread it out.
    Add some paprika, freshly chopped parsley and oil for garnish.
