@dana102083 it only technically works if the leaf node is still attached to the leaf when it comes off. Pretty much every time you remove a leaf it leaves the leaf node behind on the stem. Coleus are not capable of creating a plant with just the leaf by itself. At the end of the day this is a waste of time anyways cuz they propagate so easily from stem cuttings. Why bother with a far inferior way of propagating them

Very interesting, thanks for this video. 👍
Thanks for watching this video
Good job
Sir for this video i have this dout coleus grow from one leaf t
you are correct. This vid just demonstrates keeping the colourful leaves instead of throwing them out.
Just so y'all know. Leaf cuttings don't work. Without a node, the lead will never be anything but a rooted leaf
Ouu, really?
Had to snip off a lot of leaves from the cuttings for proportion, hate to think they'll all go to waste!
@@SubhaChugh yes unfortunately they will not grow a plant. You have to have a node. The leaf will root but likely won't last that long
Then what was shown at the and of this video? It looks different than the roots and looks like a bean sprout woth thick root
