It's been over a year since this album came out, but these songs are still at the top of my Spotify stats as the most listened to songs. It's an album that makes you love it the more when you keep listen to it. So chill, so easy to listen. His voice makes it 100 time better
V is my favorite performer of all time! His voice is insanely good! Personally I love his voice in English or Korean it doesn't matter he has this baritone silky voice. You will find in other songs like "Stigma" he can go so high on the octave range that it's so surprising. That is like his pet dog! And the last song is called "For Us" is my favorite song on the album. You really surprise me when you say you don't feel the soul! There's a lot of depth to his voice you just didn't catch. That was a really critical reaction. He is breaking records all over the place however with that being said we all have our own taste. For me I will continue to enjoy his beautiful music I'm out.
The goal of layover EP was to give the listener a comforting sound , to take a break from your busy da and a easy listening -as V stated in his Tiny desk performance- his tiny desk with live band is high quality music, I recommend you to watch it, LE JAZZ THE V performance it’s fully jazz sound and his latest single FRIENDS is more focused to Soul-pop sound, great lyrics, vocals and a wonderful MV with storyline.
It doesn't matter how much you justify "not liking someone's accent" because at the end of the day, it does come across as... racist. Saying this as a trilingual Asian. English is my best language but I *still* have an accent and it's so exhausting and disheartening hearing people say "Yeah, you sound kinda weird, maybe just stick to your own language."

Sound like you're being a donut for funsies. I never said his accent was annoying. I blatantly pointed the flaws and merits according to my opinion. Then I gave a comparison about why I considered it artificial.
