With cars of this age and Jaguars in particular the biggest problem is usually rust. Finding one with as solid a body as possible is always the best place to start.
Great video Adam, it’s great having these episodes as reference material when going through similar issues with my XJS. Thanks for taking the time to post this 👍🏻
From the sound the brake accumulator sphere is due for replacement. There is a Mercedes equivalent sphere that is easier to find than the original Jag one, with the same threads. I can find the part number if needed.
Hello mate, I'm from Scotland. I have bought a project xjs V12 HE. Is there a full set of comprehensive wiring diagrams for these cars? Would love to correspond with you throughout the rebuild process incase I get stuck with anything
Another great and informative video. I enjoy watching your video's you explain things very well and make it easy to understand. Is that a Wolseley 18/85/ or a six. Im guessing 18/85. i saw in the garage?👍
This bloke will be a expert fixing these things by the time eze finished
Nice colour and interior. Its obviously been looked after. Keen to see how it progresses. The Jaguar V12 engine is quiet, reliable and bulletproof.

I'm just about to start setting up my throttle linkages based on one of your previous videos 👌

It’s been sitting for months. That’s completely normal for it to do that
I’m really beginning to like the XJS especially the V12
